This peaceful villa has 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms. There is a large newly fitted open plan kitchen and dining room(with large open fireplace), separate lounge with double sofa bed and large open fireplace, 2 bathrooms, one with shower, one with bath and 2 separate toilets. Cot and highchair are provided. Outside terrace with built-in barbecue, overlooks pool, patio and gardens. There is a new full-sized tennis court with basket ball hoop at the end of the garden. The property is entirely enclosed and provides a great exploring space for children.

Allied to the tranquility of the villa, the historic town of Ste Foy La Grande(with all amenities) and the Dordogne river are both within 1 mile. Ideally situated for wine lovers, the house is within easy driving distance of classic vineyards such as St Emilion, Bordeaux and many local favourites such as Bergerac, Percharmant.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Gironde region

Bergerac is 30 minutes and Bordeaux approx. 1 hour. St Emilion is a 20 min drive west and there are many other chateaux offering wine tasting in the surrounding area. There are many places of interest along the Dordogne river (in both directions) and beautiful towns and villages to explore.Golf des Vigiers is 15 min drive away in beautiful chateaux setting.Atlantic coast is 2 hour drive, largest sand dune in Europe. Unspoilt, windswept, white sandy Atlantic beaches. Period seaside town of Arcachon overlooks oyster beds and has superb fish restaurants, is a popular holiday destination of the French.

Sainte Foy-la-Grande area

The historic Bastide town of Ste Foy la Grande is a 5 min drive. This mediaeval town set on the banks of the Dordogne river holds one of the largest and most important street markets of the region every Saturday morning up to midday. The town has all amenities, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes, hospital, chemists etc.

The villa has a large open plan dining room and newly installed kitchen. There is a separate utility room. Separate lounge with TV, video, DVD, English Satellite TV (BBC, ITV, radio channels). Books, videos provided. Large sofa and double sofa bed.

The swimming pool is 10m by 5m and is a level depth of 1.3m across the pool. Sun loungers and parasols are provided. The built in barbecue and terrace overlooks the pool and outdoor patio area.

Towards the bottom of the garden is a new full-size tennis court with basket ball hoop. The gardens are extensive and full secure.

Conditions

A welcome pack of bread, milk and wine is also provided.
All prices are per week and are inclusive of water, electricity, bed linen and towels.
A 50% deposit is required on booking and the balance paid 6 weeks prior to start of the holiday. A refundable deposit of £250 is requested.
No smoking or animals are permitted in the property at any times.
