This beautiful, rustic farmhouse is set on a hill on the edge of an authentic Normandy village. The views from the farmhouse are lovely. It is detached and sits in it's own very private grounds and provides an ideal getaway for families and groups.
The open plan living room and dining room are charming and the log burning fire produces a lovely warm glow on return from a walk in the nearby Foret D'Eawy. It is an ideal year round retreat and everyone who visits the farmhouse comments on the wonderful ambience.

The Normandy / Seine-Maritime region
Normandys connection with the UK stretches back through history and there is a general warmth between the peoples as you will find walking around the fabulous saturday street market in Dieppe or chatting with the locals in a bar.
The pace of life is a number of notches lower than in the UK. There are fewer cars and tourists, allowing you to zip between sites of interest with unfamiliar ease.
Places to see include - Rouen, with its fine cathedral , medieval streets and markets- Honfleur with its beautiful harbour , restaurants and boutique shops - Varengeville for its cliff walks and gardens - Dieppe for its harbour, shops and market.
Saint Vaast d'Equiqueville area
In the local village - there is a local shop, bar, 2 boulangeries,charcuterie , post office ,hairdresser and a pizza van who comes once a week. The village also has tennis courts.
Nearby there are :- BEACHES at Dieppe, Pourville etc.
HORSERIDING - There is a tourist booklet giving details of all the different stables in the locality. There are over 800 kms of horseback itineraries available from Tourist Offices. ( Good reports of the Lerat stables - hard hats provided, tuition if required, and very pleasant people, hacking in the forest. (about £7 an hour ) The nearest 18 hole GOLFcourse is at St. Saens (20 mins). There is also a restaurant in the small chateau. Other golf courses can be found at: Dieppe - coastal course.Etretat, Rouen, Bosc -Guerard, Le Havre, Jumieges.
WATERSPORTS at -St. Aubin le Cauf - canoes, sailing windsurfing, bike hire. -Lac de Caniel at Cany Barville (near Fecamp) Open all day every day during July and August. April to October open Wednesdays and weekends. Beach, restaurant, fishing, canoes, sailing, wind surfing, pedaloes etc. (Takes about 45 minutes in the car, entrance is free – nice place for children)
WALKING - fabulous FOREST WALKS in the nearby Foret D'Eauwy.This is one of the largest beech forests in France covering over 6,600 hectares. Hunting for deer and wild boar continues throughout the winter months. There are 4,000 kilometres of hiking itineraries in the Seine Maritime area ( long and short walks). Tourist information offices hold the full stock of maps. Maps of local walks are on the bookcase.
POND/RIVER/SEA FISHING
CHATEAUS - chateau at Mesnieres en Bray, between Ardouval and Neufchatel. The castle at Dieppe is open all year and has a good collection of ivory on display. The chateau at Cleres has zoological gardens ideal for children and interesting too for grown ups! Monet’s famous garden at Giverny is approx. one and a half hours drive away.

Bookings can be made by telephone or email. A £250 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. Full payment is required 2 months before the holiday start. A security deposit of £250 is taken with the balance payment in lieu of damages.
