Soooo s p a c i o u s , M'agrado is perfect for a family group or a group of friends sharing. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, cool in the summer heat. The amazingly large eating and relaxing area is on the first floor, giving lovely views of the garden, pool area and surrounding countryside.
The balcony to the front is where the sun's morning light greets you. The balcony to the back overlooks the gardens and the pool area, and the fields beyond. You can watch the sunset every evening at the back of the house sitting around the BBQ area.
The owners are on hand to maintain the pool and discretely provide any help you may need. They have good local knowledge of wildlife, historical sites and leisure activities

The Midi-Pyrenees / Tarn-et-Garonne region

Countryside rich in wildlife.
Endless adventure with horse riding, canoeing, bird watching, mountain bike trailing, walking and fishing in some of the best rivers in France.
Picturesque medieval bastide towns, such as Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac and St Antonin Noble Val, St Cirq Lapopie
Ideally placed to visit the Gaillac and Cahors wine regions for "degustations". Great fun!
The b r e a t h taking Aveyron Gorge
The world's longest span bridge of Millau is a day's outing away, also Albi, with its waterpark, great for youngsters, and also an 18 hole golf course.
The Saint Projet Village / Pers area
A pleasant short walk away from M'agrado is the Boulangerie at Puylagarde, where you can not only buy freshly made bread, croissants and basic groceries but also THE most fantastic patisserie - try the strongly recommended millefeuilles, rhum babas, and fruit tarts, made on the premises. What a good start to the day!
In the village is the historic Chateau de St Projet, also known as le Chateau de La Reine Margot, where she hid with her lover, during the 100 years war.
The local markets are something else, not to be missed and each with their own delights! Our favourites are Villefranche de Rouergue (Thursdays ),St Antonin-Noble-Val (Sundays) Caussade (Mondays) and Limogne (Sundays)
There are numerous exciting local festive events, where you can taste both the local produce and culture.
The Giant Omelette at St Projet, horse racing at Puylagarde, the Espinas fete, where you can see farming as it was in bygone years, and enjoy Sangria and a huge feast at night....and more....
The night markets held in St Projet throughout the summer are enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.
Local foodproducers display all their wares, ready to eat and drink, and we sit at tablesoutside to celebrate the areas bounty!
The lane that runs along the front of M'agrado is the PR2, which leads you on a circular walk of about 8 kms.
Close by is Lac de Parisot, and also Lac de Bannac, where you can either amble, or try sky ropes, rock climbing or canyoning!
St Antonin is THE place to go canoeing to explore the Aveyron Gorge, whether they seek beginner routes, or something more adventurous. A great favourite with teenagers and other age groups alike. www.canoegorgesaveyron.com
We must mention our very favourite eating place, the Auberge at Le Cros. You will receive a warm welcome from Thierry and his wife Rebecca and enjoy an ambience that is warm and magical. You must book!! Don't forget!!

Portsmouth - Le Havre is our personal favourite ferry route with LD lines, who offer amazingly comfortable sleeper seats if you choose to do a night crossing. You can then drive all day and arrive in time for a relaxing late afternoon/evening. The roads are soooooo easy! Directions will be sent on confirmation of booking.
The tunnel and Dover crossings may be more convenient for you, but the drive in France is longer.
Rodez is our local, oh so friendly, airport. It's about an hour's drive. The car journey to us from Rodez is beautiful. There are cheap flights from Ryanair.com, who fly here from Stansted and also Dublin You can arrange cheaper car hire, too, if you book it at the same time.
Otherwise there are many flights to TOULOUSE, which is only about an hour and a quarter's journey by car.

This is the second time we have visited M'Agrado and we haved booked again. For us it is perfect, lots of interesting places to visit and back at the Gite lots of relaxation. The conversion is wonderful and done with great panache and imagination. We wanted for nothing, even had a waspinator in the outside space. Guestbook for M'agrado
Wow! The pictures just do not do M'Agrado justice! - They don't take in the spacious worry free atmosphere. You can really recharge your batteries here and just enjoy the local fun! Thank you, David and Suzanne! Robertsons (Oxford)
Perfect and idyllic base for viewing a most beautiful region of France . Mr and Mrs R Montague
Serene, spacious surroundings. Genuine welcome. We chilled out like never before! The Eliott Family
We enjoyed two fantastic sunny weeks of floating in the pool, wandering the lanes, eating blackberries from the bushes, visiting markets, and enjoying fresh produce and soaking up the French lifestyle. The accommodation was perfectly suited to meet our needs, the grandparents and those of our active toddler.
David and Suzanne offered us a warm welcome on our arrival and gave us plenty of holiday tips as and when needed. We're looking forward to our next visit! Tom, Jane and Annie
We knew from the description that this would be perfect for our family, and in fact it exceeded our expectations.
It really is a gem! Wendy and Russell
True French living! We loved all the oak beams and thick stone walls. Sleeping downstairs in the cool was heaven after a very hot day! Hilary and family
