Nested in a 19th century English style park, designed by Alexis de Tocqueville's wife Mary, the Château de Tocqueville was built successively in the 16th, 18th and 19th centuries. You will discover one of the most beautiful and historical regions of France, while finding in this home the serenity and
tranquility that inspired Alexis de Tocqueville, who wrote most of his books and correspondence there. Available for the pleasure of our guests is the spectacular 19th century square aisle of the Château, le Pavillon, which was recently renovated, now combining old style charm with state of the art comfort (modern heating, bathrooms, kitchen, wifi and elevator). Le Pavillon includes a large ground floor living room with a grand 16th century fireplace, a library, a dining area with seating for 12 and a fully-equipped kitchen for your culinary adventures.
