About the home

The 135m2 apartment is in the centre of St. Petersburg 1 minute from Chernishevskaya metro station, there are lots of restaurants and shops around. It is in the heart of the embassy area with its many tree lined pedestrian boulevards and close to Tavrichesky park (Tauride Gardens), the river Neva, Fontanka water way and the sights of St. Petersburg as State Hermitage Museum and Palace Square, Summer Garden, Bronze Horseman, Saint Michael's Castle and Smolny are all within easy walking distance.

The 3 bedroom apartment is situated on the top floor of a six storey historical building which was once home to one of St. Petersburg's founding architects, with a lovely view of the river Neva.

Internally, the accommodation has been renovated to a very high standard by the owners ( a London Interior designer) and the artwork throughout the property has been painted to suit each room by the artist himself. Design of the apartment is Modern & Contemporary.

The apartment has beautiful solid oak floors, light walls, contemporary furniture, Sony LCD. All rooms are isolated, there are 2 bedrooms with Euro King size beds, a living room with pull-out sofa-bed for 2 3.2m x 1.7m and a Cabinet with pull-out sofa-bed for 2. The bathroom is spacious (11 sq.m) and has a walk in infra-red sauna for two. The big newly fitted kitchen (16 sq.m) has all the household appliances one would expect in any contemporary home including washing machine and dishwasher.
Apartment has high-speed Wi-Fi Internet.
There is a parking in the yard.
The apartment is renting directly from the owners, without intermediaries.

The apartment is just right in the centre of St. Petersburg surrounded by the restaurants, bars, supermarkets, 24 hrs stores, the Chernishevskaya tube station is just across the road (about 1 minute walk) and buses are everywhere. Although it is more than likely you wont need to use any of these forms of transport as all the great sites of St. Petersburg are right on your door step.

The Northwestern Russia/Saint Petersburg region

Central apartment in the heart of the city overlooking a beautiful tree lined boulevard, which runs down to the river Neva. The boulevard is flanked by restaurants, bars and convenience stores. It is in the heart of the embassy area with its many tree lined pedestrian boulevards and close to Tavrichesky park (Tauride Garden), the river Neva, Fontanka water way and the sights of St. Petersburg as State Hermitage Museum and Palace Square, Summer Garden, Bronze Horseman, Saint Michael's Castle and Smolny are all within easy walking distance.

The tube station is close to hands but not really required as this property is within close walking distance to all the main architectural delight which St. Petersburg has to offer. We are located in the historic city centre.

Choosing to stay with us, you will extricate your self from the noise and uproar of Nevsky Prospekt, the endless stream of people who always tend to the main road of the city, the area where it is difficult to find good grocery stores nearby. For these qualities, our area was chosen by numerous consulates and appear to have quieter, more peaceful and secure living.

The Saint Petersburg / Central Saint Petersburg area

There are plenty of good shops all around the apartment, There is a very good deli on the opposite side of our street on the left hand side 100 yards. The bakery is along boulevard on the right hand side, it´s the largest building there with a small window with all the breads and cakes on display. You really can´t miss it. If you stay on the same side of the street and walk a few blocks you will find a medium sized supermarket called " 7ya" which is open 24/7. At the bottom of the apartment is a couple of convenience store which are open 24 hrs, good for essentials, bread, milk etc...

There is a traditional pancake shop «Chainaya lozka». It´s positioned on the left hand side of the boulevard on the corner of the second block. It´s has many fillings and is a good cheap alternative to the average fast food place. There are some coffee and buffet-style shops just around us what you could´t miss and they are open 24/7. Your going to find that you really do have everything you will need at your doorstep. You´ll love it!

We are a couple from France and we would like to express our opinion about this appartment. This appartment was one of the good points in our St. Petersburg trip. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, there is also a well equipped bathroom, with sauna, we enjoyed it after long walks in city. The location of the appartment is in a walking distance from the heart of the city, the subway station is in 1 minute walk, there is a beautiful view from the windows. The owners are sweet people and provided us with the advices about the sightseeings and nearest shops. As it was our second trip to St. Petersburg we could compare and we assure that staying in this appartment was a right choice and we enjoyed it better than staying in the crowded hotel, even if the weather won't be good ( sometimes it happens in St. Petersburg)) you won't regret of staying inside of this appartment :) We wish you a nice stay.

Thank you Nadya, Marc and especially a big thank you to Evgenia (Nadya´s mother) for helping make our stay in St. Petersburg so easy. They organised our taxi to and from the apartment on our arrival. Which turned out to be a great idea as neigther of us spoke Russian. They helped to organised our registration aslo while we where there and gave us lots of information on bars, clubs and restaurants to try out whilst we were there.Some we would never have found. The apartment was as lovely as in the photo´s and bigger in real life. The kitchen was well equiped and all the appliances easy to use. The sauna was amazing. I don´t usually like saunas but the infa red sauna was mind blowing. The location of the appartment is slap bang in the heart of the consulate area, a short walk past all the tourist sites and attractions into the thick of the hustle and the bustle of Nevsky shopping district. We loved the views of the boulavarde below. We spent many hours watching the Russian people below milling around the restaurants and chatting on the benches. In fact we loved the whole St. Petersburg experience and would highly recommend coming to stay at this appartment. It really made our holiday. Many thanks once again,

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce vaste appartement qui est encore plus accueillant en réalité que sur les photos. L'appartement est spacieux et bien entretenu et nous avons donc tous pu profitter (nous étions 6 amis originaires de Genève) de la proximité du centre ville. l'appartement est équipé du wifi et d'un sauna infra rouge. Les propriétaires sont des gens très accueillants et organisés, ils se sont meme occupés de nous trouver un taxi depuis l'aéroport. Ce fut donc une très bonne surprise et nous vous recommandons volontiers cet appartement.

Highly recommended Hi from Germany, we stayed in this nice appartment for the New Year's celebration for 10 days. It is located in a lively district and we were able to discover the downtown by walk, although the metro and bus stops are just along the street. Inside it is really spacious, clean, quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped.The owners provided us with good advices about the sightseeings and local matters we were interested in, they stayed in touch with us during whole stay and were friendly and responsible, the deposit for the flat has been returned to us the very next day after our departure ( they were ready to return it the same day but we didn't have time for it before our morning flight back.) We highly recommend this cozy appartment to people travelling to St. Petersburg, thanks to finding it we were relaxed and enjoyed our trip. Should be wonderful to stay there during the summer time, as the view from the hall windows are going straight to the Neva river and even when the bridges up you should be able to walk back to the flat as it is in center. Very nice stay! Excellent appartment:
It is very well located not far from the center and very close to the metro station (this is important in St Petresburg because the stations are far from the others).
It is modern and clean inside, on the 6th floor with a lift.
There are plenty shops around opened 24H.
The accomodation organised concerning the taxis from and to the airport have been efficient and for a good price.
I recommand to stay in this appartment in St-Petersburg, well located and very convenient.
