The Island of Malta region

Malta is a group of islands in the heart of the Mediterranean to the south of Sicily (Italy). The three main islands are Malta, Gozo and Comino, which attract a large number of visitors each year, who often return to spend their holidays in Malta, due to its fantastic all year round weather, numerous tourists visit the island of Malta for its rich history and culture but, most of all for its sunny and warm weather and hospitable people.


Saint Paul's Bay / Bugibba area

St Paul's Bay and its neighbours Bugibba and Qawra are Malta's largest, seaside resorts, they offer plentiful accommodation ranging from self-catering apartments to hotel complexes and a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St Paul's Island directly from the Penthouse, where according to legend the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked.

Standing prominently on the isle is a large statue of the Apostle commemorating this legendary event the coastline promenade provides a long, though mostly level and easy walk from St Paul's Bay all the way to Qawra Point, with its tower and views over Salina Bay.

St Paul's Bay started life as a small fishing village, the parish church, built in 1617, was carefully restored after suffering heavy damage in World War II, nearby is the Wignacourt Tower built in 1610 during the reign of Grand Master Alof de Wignacourt it served as Malta's northern-most defensive outpost until fort St. Agatha was built in Mellieha in 1649. Today, it houses a small museum dedicated to Malta's rich military-architectural heritage.

Stayed in the Penthouse and it was HUGE! The air conditioning was a god send with the hot heat of Malta. Excellent location - walking distance to restaurants and the sea front.

Amazing views across St. Pauls Bay from the large sun terrace that got full sun from morning till sun set. Full range of TV channels in English should you desire. I would recommend 100%

Just a quick e-mail to thank you for all your help!

The Penthouse was amazing. My 15 year old daughter said its the nicest apartment we've ever stayed in. It's spacious, cool inside with air conditioning in all bedrooms and reception rooms - heaven in a very hot August!!! The views are amazing. The first thing I did every morning was have a coffee on the very large terrace overlooking the sea. We didn't need a car as the location was fantastic, 5 mins walk from the bus station where you could catch a bus to anywhere you wanted to go in Malta, 5 minutes from the beach and only a couple of mins walk away from Bugibba town square with a large variety of restaurants and pubs. We found some beautiful restaurants in Bugibba and also in St Pauls Bay.

All in all a perfect holiday.

Thanks again for your help all the way through the process. I honestly felt like you cared about us as customers and you really looked after us well.
