The house is situated in the pretty village of Le Vivier and set in the heart of the the stunning Fenouilledes region know for its Cathar castles, Gorges and Wines and is perfectly placed for all your holiday needs.
The house has been fully restored offering couples all year comfort with the perfect blend of old world charm and modern appliances for today's living.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
The region of the Fenouilledes is a great place to visit . The sites include the Roman aqueduct , still used today for irrigation purposes, the stunning Cathar castles or Queribus, Peyrepertuse and Puilaurens are always a must see, as is the Gorge de Galamus . The thermals spas of Rennes les Bains and Thomas les Bains and Axe les Thermes are always worth a visit.
The region is best known for its wine production, to suite all tastes and, the wine caves are always open and more than happy for you to try before you buy.
Weekly open-air markets in surrounding villages offer a great way to get local fresh produce and to mix with the friendly locals. Many of the restaurants offer good honest local cuisine at good honest prices.
Saint Paul de Fenouillet / Le Vivier area
All within a short drive you have a whole host of activities for the not so feint hearted - white water rafting, horse trekking, rock climbing, canoeing and swimming can be found at the local activity centre just outside Caudies de Fenouilledes.
If you love walking and bird watching, this is the place for you. Many trails are easily marked and vary from an hour or so to the whole day if you wish.
For skiers, you have 3 resorts all within 1hr 15mins drive.
For site seeing, just get in you car and drive, the scenery will and fresh air will make your senses come alive.
The coastal resorts of the Mediterranean are about 1 hr drive.

The nearest airport is Perpignan approx 1hrs drive, Carcassonne approx 1hr 20, Girona (spain) 2hrs, Toulouse approx 2hrs 30, Barcelona approx 3hrs.

Further details indoors: The double bedroom is just off the ground floor and has a comfortable double bed , bedside tables and lamps, a wardrobe with shelving and dressing table with mirror. There is an electric radiator.
The good sized shower room is next to the bedroom and has a walk in shower, washbasin with shelving and mirror above, a heated towel rai , extractor fan and wc .
Upstairs is the large living room with comfortable old leather 3 seater sofa and 2 arm chairs. There is a CD/DVD player as well as satellite UK television.
The log burner is available for out of season lets and there is also an electric radiator. The window faces south and looks over the village roof tops to the open and unspoiled countryside.
On the top floor you have the well equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and ample crockery and cutlery for you holiday needs. The dining table and chairs are opposite.
From the kitchen /diner you step through the double sliding patio doors onto the wonderful roof terrace with unobstructed views over the village and open countryside. Here you have sun loungers , BBQ and table and chairs for outside dining.
Conditions
A non refundable deposit of 25% of the holiday cost will be required to secure a booking.
The holiday balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
The holiday cost includes all water, electrics, heating, bedding and towels, there are no extras.
A damage deposit of £200 or 300 Euro maybe required with the holiday balance.
