Guestbook for La Cayre
La Cayre is perfectly positioned and a lovely place to stay in such a beautiful part of France. Made such lovely new friends as Tom and Angela and have been welcomed to their home. Trips not to be missed, Duras and a boat trip on the Dordogne. Will be back again...roll on retirement! Mr & Mrs P. Lancs.
Had a wonderful time in La Cayre. There are so many things to see, so many castles that one month would not be enough! The Pyla dune is absolutely fantastic! La Cayre is a quiet and beautiful place, Tom and Angela made us feel as we were at home. Thanks once again. Mr & Mrs N. Poland
This is indeed a wonderful base to explore the treasures of Lot et Garonne and the Dordogne. Walk the lovely country lanes and finish the day with a dip in the pool. Thanks, good health and good luck to Tom and Angela. Mr & Mrs M. N. Ireland
We have enjoyed a very peaceful holiday exploring the surrounding unspoilt countryside on our bikes. I took over 300 photos, the wildlife was incredible, eagles, red squirrels, jays and woodpeckers but not easy to photograph despite their abundance. Thanks very much Tom and Angela you were good company and great hosts. We hope to return one day for some more Reisling! Mr & Mrs B. Warks.
La Cayre is in the perfect location for exploring. Bergerac was beautiful, Sarlat which was even more spectacular. Enjoyed a lovely evening in Eymet during the Medieval Festival. Travelled south to Agen and Nerac was lovely, also Duras. Thank you Tom and Angela for a lovely few days. Mr & Mrs S. Essex

We had a lovely week, Tom and Angela have been extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Their attention to detail made us feel very welcome. The surrounding area is gorgeous, picturesque 'bastide' towns and chateaux among sunflowers and vineyards. We particularly enjoyed canoeing along the quiet Dordogne river and clambering over the highest sand dune in Europe near Arcachon. L & R, London
