The Normandy / Manche region
Normandy (in French: Normandie, and in Norman: Normaundie) is a geographical region corresponding to the former Duchy of Normandy. It is situated along the coasts of the south of the English Channel between Brittany (to the west) and Picardy (to the east) and comprises territory in northern France and the Channel Islands. The Manche part of Normandy is in the west of Normandy close to the borders with Brittany.
Saint Pair sur Mer area
Situated on the coast of Normandy, near the Brittany / Normandy border, between the Mont Saint Michel and the small fishing town of Granville. The Lez-Eaux campsite offers exceptionally picturesque environment. The site is part of the prestigious Castels and Camping group. This is a sure sign of quality as the sites have been created in the grounds of a chateau. For days our you have a weath of local beaches. The main "not to be missed" attraction of the area is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mont Saint Michel.
CHATEAU LEZ EAUX is towards the bottom of the Cherbourg peninsula with lots to see and do in the area.
