"With this gite you can't possibly go wrong."
We have just returned home from the Gite "Aux Marnieres" after a seven night stay. We highly recommend this gite. Situated in a peaceful, picturesque village close to St. Omer, the surrounding area offers lots to see and do.
The accommodation itself is bright, modern and immaculately maintained with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Anny was a kind, friendly and helpful hostess for whom nothing was too much trouble.

"Wonderful apartment, charming hostess, beautiful location"
We very much enjoyed our stay at Gite 'Aux Marnieres'. The apartment is virtually new and nicely furnished. The kitchen has all the equipment necessary for a vacation stay, and the bath is modern and well appointed. There is even a private deck with a table and grill (though during our stay the weather didn't cooperate). The internet connection was strong and stable. Houlle is a quiet, beautiful village, the perfect place for a restful break, but centrally located as a base to explore most of North France. Anny Guislain welcomed us warmly, and throughout our visit she was very helpful but also respectful of our privacy. She is fluent in English and provided helpful suggestions about shopping, restaurants, and sites to see.
