Located in the second sunniest region of France, this cottage will allow you to discover and benefit charms of Bocage Bressuirais.
This charming cottage, adapted for the disabled, has, at the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooker, kettle, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker and washing machine.
You can also find a living room with chimney, TV and DVD player.
The ground floor features then 1 room with 2 simple beds and another room with 1 double bed. Finally, a shower room and WC are at your disposal.
Upstairs includes a room with 2 single beds and another with a double bed; a bathroom; a lounge room.
The cottage Le jardin de prunelle also has baby equipment, games for children and a wood stove.

A deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required to secure the reservation.
The balance must be paid 30 days before your stay.
A tax of 0.75€ per night and per adult will be payable on site at owners.
If the reservation is less than 30 days from the start of the holiday date, the full amount will be required.
Once full payment is received an accommodation voucher will be issued which you take with you to France in exchange for the keys.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Deux Sevres region

The Deux-Sevres is the tranquil, laid back, unspoilt department of the Poitou-Charentes, the area has a mild micro-climate and is deemed to be the second sunniest region in France, benefiting from the warmth of the La Rochelle basin. It is filled with lazy winding rivers and is a region truly dedicated to relaxing,
Beautiful Countryside in all directions and traffic free roads to go and explore.
Deux-Sevres is bordered by Charente Maitime with its beautiful beaches - La Rochelle, Royan and the Ile d'Oleron and the Vendee with Sables d'Olonnes.
The wonderful nearby coastline and beautiful islands of the Atlantic are all under 2 hours away.
The Marais Poitevin (Green Venice) is a short drive away with its winding canals and waterways - you can hire a boat for the day and explore.You could also make a visit to Futurscope near Poitiers or to Puy du Fou, a big theme park.
The area is steeped in history offers unspoilt landscapes and some of Europe's most imposing Tumuli, Romanesque churches, chateaux and museums. During summer, discover a lot of festivals, markets and events.
This region is a great place to take a Cycling holiday with virtually traffic free roads and beautiful scenery.
The Saint-Marsault area
Puy Chevrier is situated 5 minutes car from Boisme which has a friendly bar-restaurant, post office, pharmacy and boulangerie.
The nearest town of Bressuire is 10 minutes drive and has numerous restaurants, shops, supermarkets, discos and bars. There is also an ancient Chateau and a newer Chateau sitting side by side - both are set in a park with a children's play area and lovely walks along the river.
There are lots to see and do in and around Bressuire. The 56m renaissance tower of the church of Notre Dame rises high over the town and surrounding countryside. Originating from the 11th Century, the Chateau dominates the town and is an ideal venue for the many events throughout the year.
As well as being in an area of historical interest, Bressuire is within easy reach of the Loire Valley, the Marais Poitevin, Futuroscope, Le Puy du Fou and the renowned fishing centre of Pescalis.
The medieval town of Parthenay with its beautiful ramparts and stunning hill-top views is 45 minutes drive away.
The old railway between Bressuire and Parthenay has been converted into a walking/cycling or horse riding path giving 30km+ of safe riding.
Local villages have public lakes for fishing.
Theatre, cinema, library, museum, antiques & bric-a-brac, cellar and wine tasting, fitness centre, parks and gardens, discotheque, exhibition centre, historical site, markets all close by
If Fishing is your passion you can fish at the world-renowned centre of Pescalis at Moncoutant which is approximately 30 minutes drive - you will be spoilt with the Lakes which are open for Day Fishing - neary there is also a Karting Track and an Assault Course which will suit all ages - there are restaurants open all day to suit all price points.
Just a bit futher you will find the medieval town of Vouvent with its ancient churches and Mervent - with beautiful forest areas to explore leading down to a beach on the river where you can hire sailing boats and pedaloes and yet another Assault Course - Pierre Brun - there is also a boating lake.
Tennis, squash, riding school, pony club, golf practice range, ten-pin bowling, archery, go-karting, petanque field. An abundance of country walks and cycling routes are situated around the property
Two 18 hole golf courses at Golf des Forges and Cholet are approximately 25 minutes drive. Canoeing in the Loire approximately 45 minutes drive.
