There are also boat trips to Ile d'Yeu and Ile de Re or the beautiful Island of Normuitier is only a short drive away.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes in the area for you to go to and experience French culture and cuisine. Everyone is friendly and will make you feel at home wherever you go.
The Saint Jean de Monts area
The house is situated in a quiet suburb of the lively yet cosmopolitan town of Saint Jean de Monts yet only 2 km from all amenities, including the 8 km beach where Activities include surfing land yachting and sailing.
The beautiful forest nearby offers superb opportunities for those individuals wishing to cycle, walk or horse ride.
There is also a golf course in the town and a number of activity parks.
The coastal strip offers many bars and restaurants and shopping opportunities.
The old town has many shops and an excellent all year round fresh food market.
Open air markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year.
