Fisherman's Cottage dates from between 1740 - 1760 and is located on the outskirts of St Helier overlooking the bay of Greve D'Azette. The property has been sensitively restored to a very high standard creating a comfortable, well appointed self-catering cottage complete with one double bedroom; ensuite shower room, open plan lounge/kitchen and a private garden with sea views. There are cafes and restaurants close by together with a convenience store, launderette and parking for one car.
A two-minute walk through beautifully tended public gardens leads you to the sheltered, south facing beach of Havre des Pas, the area is known for it's distinctive Victorian architecture which lines the roadside. An impressive focal point is the Victorian Lido; a safe place to swim and a popular destination for families in the summer months. The cottage is also a ten-minute walk from the bustling town centre of St Helier and a perfect base from which to explore Jersey's beautiful coastline and green lanes.

The Jersey region
With it's unspoiled landscape and unique blend of British and French influences, Jersey really is a place where you can get away from it all.Feel the sand between your toes and the fresh sea breeze in your hair on Jersey's beautiful beaches. Head for the north and east coast for rock pools teeming with marine life, or south and west for glorious golden sands, washed by the tides each day.
Jersey sits in the Bay of St Malo - just 19 miles (or 30.5 km) from the French coast and 85 miles (137 km) south of the English coast. Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands being only 5 miles (8 km) long and 9 miles (14.5 km) wide.
Our southerly location and sheltered position in the Bay of St Malo mean that we have a generally temperate climate that is often warmer with more sunshine hours than the UK.

"Fantastic location for couple without children"
I stayed at the cottage with my 4 year old daughter from the 2nd of August to the 9th. It was very hard to find, I drove around for an hour searching for it and none of the locals had heard of the pro… More
Thank you for your review of Fisherman's Cottage. The Cottage is just one of the properties we manage and due to their historical importance there are some quirky features and room layouts. We have recently updated our information sheets with maps on how to find the property and parking space. As with most of our properties, their unusual locations mean they do not have accurate postcodes.
We understand that you may not feel comfortable with the windows being open at night, but it is possible to have the windows open and shutters closed for ventilation.
We hope you visit Jersey again, and if you would like to look at some of our properties then please look at our website.

Thank you for your review of Fisherman's Cottage - all noted regarding the utensils. Jersey Heritage does look after a number of historic properties that are more remote should you wish to visit our beautiful isle again.
