About the home

Ideally situated for all the tourist attractions, we have two self catering apartments (Grapevine and Passiflore) located in our converted barn. Passiflore is our two bedroom and Grapevine our three bedroom accommodation, each with the front entrance accessing our beautiful sandstone courtyard and the back entrance opening up onto a private terrace overlooking our huge meadow garden with pool. We provide excellent three-course meals should you require, allowing you to relax and enjoy an evening of fine dining only a stones throw from your accommodation. Recently achieving the travellers choice award for 2011, this property is listed in the top 25 places to stay in France.
Le Chevrefeuille is an ensemble of farmhouse buildings with all the charm of an old perigordine farmhouse with all the facilities required of modern comfort.

Grapevine is a three bedroom apartment, with the third bedroom like an annexe (connected by terrace), ideal for families travelling with grandparents, Ideal for two families to stay, each can have their own apartment with separate facilities but can enjoy their meals and leisure time together.
English owners are resident on site who will provide any meals, advice and recommendations on where to eat, swim, canoe or sightsee.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The central part of the Dordogne valley and its tributary, the valley of the Vezere, comprise the heart of the Perigord Noir. This is distinctive Dordogne country:deep-cut valleys enclosed within limestone cliffs, with fields of maize and dense dark oak woods on the heights. The region provides breathtaking views around every corner and picturesque market towns comprising of sandstone houses and cobbled streets. 17 kms away is the well preserved medieval town of Sarlat, the capital of the Perigord Noir. Its warren of old lanes, hidden courtyards and fine architecture is a fabulous backdrop for its excellent weekly market.

The Saint Cyprien / Pechboutier area

Our village is situated between St Cyprien and Les Eyzies. It is castle country, where great medieval fortresses eyeball each other across the valley, along with the area being famous for its natural rock shelters where humans sought refuge for thousands of years leaving an incredible wealth of archaeological and artistic evidence in prehistoric caves, shelters and related sites.
Canoe hire is everywhere and should not be missed. The tranquillity of the river which bustles with wildlife and plenty of places to shore up for a picnic and a glass of wine makes it an unforgettable experience.
