The Midi-Pyrenees region

L'arrivée is situated 2 km. from Autoire and 6 km. from Saint-Cere. Autoire is one of the many little authentic villages of this lovely region. Besides Autoire there are: Rocamadour, Padirac with its Gouffre, Cardaillac, Carrenac, Collonges le Rouge, Figeac and Saint Cirq la Popie. These villages are all worth visiting. Saint-Cere has all the facilities: restaurants, shops, hospital etc.

The Lot is famous for its hospitality, its scenery, its climate, its gastronomy, its culture. It is French. There is so much to see and do. Come and discover the Lot.

L'arrivée is situated on top of a hill and has nice views of the surrounding landscape with its meadows and wallnut trees. The wallnuts are used in all kinds of pruducts; cakes, oil, aperitives, cheese, sausages. These wallnuts are one of the products the region is famous for. Other famous products are of course the Cahors wines; dark red wines with a strong flavour, the small cheese of Rocamadour, the foie gras and of course the canard. All these products can be bought on typical markets and eaten in different kinds of restaurants.
