The French Riviera has some truly remarkable towns and villages offering a variety of graceful Belle-Epoque architecture, beautiful flora, stunning panoramas and amazing temperatures with hot summers and mild winters and over 250 days of sunshine. The combination of sun, sea, and mountains is impressive and magical with the added bonus, dependent upon the time of the year or season, of being packed with numerous festivals, art exhibitions, activities and world famous events. Saint Aygulf/Frejus / St Raphael area
The resort of Frejust/St Raphael is situated on the coast in between Cannes and St Tropez.
The Distinction between Frejus-plage and St Raphael is barely distinguishable with their mixture of restaurants, shops and sandy beaches which offer many water based activities (water sking, jet skies, parascending, sailing, etc..). Boats can be hired and there are daily trips to St Tropez by sea.
However the two towns have their own characters: St Raphael is blessed with a singularly attractive site. It lies at the eastern end of the Massif des Maures, the long range of hills running inside the coast all the way to Toulon. This part of the coast has excellent sandy beaches, whose gentle shelving makes them particularly suitable for children.
While in Frejus, the past seems ever present with its history and Roman ruins. Founded by Julius Caesar as a transit camp for Roman armies, it is contemporarily know as "the Pompeii of Provence". Today, Frejus is a popular town with tourists, wanting to immerge themselves into the past.
It is, perhaps, just this contrast between this agreable little resort town and its archaeologically rich cousin that gives these towns their particular charms.

Further details outdoors: Both the living room and the double bedroom have sliding doors leading to a spacious terrace which you will enjoy as another room "outside". Furnished with a table and 4 chairs. Located on the 1st floor of a 4 storey building, the flat overlook a quiet, typically French street. Up the street, a local market sets camp on the post office plazza, 3 times a week and you will enjoy buying local fruits and vegs, as well as local Provence products. When not occupied by the market traders, the plazza is filled with "boules" enthusiasts. The proximity to the beach and shops will allow you to make full use of the town amenities as well as allowing you to return to the flat easily to retreat. Free parking spaces are available in the street where the flat is located and a secure parking can be arranged on demand.

*25% deposit on booking (non refundable). Balance payable 6 weeks before occupancy. *Check in time is 4pm and check out 11am (alternative arrangements can be organised if needed. We will do our upmost to fulfill your requests). *We are sorry but we do not allow pets. *No Smoking, except on the balcony. *The apartment has a buildings, contents and liability insurance but your personal possessions will need to be covered by your own insurance. The owner is not liable for any loss or damages to your possessions.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. £100 deposit for keys will be needed. This will remain uncashed and will be returned on receipt of the keys after your holidays. A non refundable 25% deposit will be required on booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks before occupancy. We ask you to leave the flat in the same cleanliness condition as you found it. A £30 additional charge will be added to the rate for a cleaning service.
