Facilities incl Sky TV , DVD ,Wood burner , Gas hob and many home comforts.Perfect for a relaxing holiday doing very little except perhaps,walking ,cycling ,fishing and golf or alternatively Brittany is just a few miles away and Normandy just a couple so you really can go off in all directions .Paris is accessible from the train station in Laval.

The veranda overlooks the garden with its fruit trees .There is a further patio area .The whole garden is screened and not overlooked at all. The Garage is great for secure parking .From the end of the garden there is a lovely view along a small valley .

The Loire Valley / Mayenne region
If you are after unspoilt countryside, rich cultural heritage or outdoor adventure, Mayenne is the place to be.
From the prehistoric caves at Saulges to the Roman remains at Jublains, the Renaissance castles of Bourgon and Mezangers, there is a treasure trove of secrets to be discovered.
Over the years, the importance of the Mayenne river has diminished. Nowadays, tourists use it to fish, swim, kayak or simply a leisurely boat trip.
The Saint-Aubin-Fosse-Louvain area
Throughout July/August there are several local festivals /feasts.The village itself is quite peaceful with very light traffic on the road next to the property .
Nearby is the superb castle at Fougerres.At Mortain is a great walk incorporating La grande Cascade ..the largest waterfall in Western France.Golf at Laval 50mins away or a 9 hole at Bagnole de Orne,a lovely Spa town with Casino.

Approx 1.5 hrs south of Ouisterham Cross Channel Ferry Port with a drive through the beautiful Swiss Normandie area ,an hour approx East of both St Malo and Dinard Airport ( flights from East Mids & Stansted ).Car hire is available from the Airport. About 2 hrs south of Cherbourg and approx a four hour drive from Calais with Eurotunnel & Channel Ferries..I've done all these crossings and each has its benefits depending on month/length of stay.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of this accomodation. The rooms were comfortable and a decent size. The kitchen was well-equipped and my boys particularly enjoyed the large cupboard of board games. Outside the house is in a beautiful setting and the sunny deck was perfect for enjoying the evening sun. We found plenty of good trips nearby - caves in Saulges, the castle at Fougeres, sailing at Etang du Gue de Selle and up the the coast at Granville and Cancale. |

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful cottage. It is well equipped and very comfortable. The weather was beautiful and enjoyed the evenings sitting on the decked area overlooking the garden. Will definitely be back - thanks you. |
