The Midi-Pyrenees / Aveyron region
The South Aveyron is one of the most beautiful parts of France. Rugged unspoilt and sparsely populated it is extremely popular with walkers. Every village is packed with history and many have kept their ancient connections to the Cathars and Templar knights who made their strongholds in the area. The south is mountainous with high cliffs and beautiful river gorges and gives way in the north to high plateaux and lakes before reaching the Puys (ancient volcanoes) of the Massif Central. The South Aveyron benefits from mediterraneen weather,,

Yes, thanks. We had a really wonderful time, and loved the house. It suited us perfectly, and really hope we can come back soon. No real suggestions for improvement - pretty much perfect in every way! (And thanks for returning the deposit.)
Best wishes Bob
Thankyou Bob, the 1st of very satisfied English customers with his wife and children and happy tosay very satisfied French customers too. July and August are certainly popular down there and we received many more enquiries than available time but June and September are the best months and cheaper too.
