Two generous double bedrooms - one can be used as a twin bedroom. All rooms have beautiful views across the vineyards, apart from kitchen which opens out onto pretty walled garden.
Free wireless broadband with optional iMac hire. Telephone with free calls to European land lines.
Lots of useful books - food guides, books about the area, dictionaries, cookery and wine books plus general holiday reading.
Further details outdoors:
Pretty walled garden (very unusual in a village house) on two levels with views out over miles of vines. Planted with herbs and lavender, and an old fig tree with a stone bench and old olive trees. The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region

With over 300 days of blue skies, the region is heaven for those wishing to escape the grey! The main activity is wine-making (vines were planted here in Roman times) as we are in the heart of the Côtes-du-Rhône.
The pace of life is slow and easy with fantastic produce available in the wonderful food markets, great restaurants and long relaxed lunches! There are historic sites and lots of museums to visit, as well as landmarks such as the Mont Ventoux, mythical climb of the Tour de France, and the famous lavender fields of Sault.
For sightseeing, Avignon, Nîmes, Carpentras, Orange, Arles, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are all an easy drive.
The Sablet area
Sablet is a small, friendly village with all the amenities you need for your holiday: food and wine shops, bar/café and several restaurants as well as lots of wineries to visit! It central location makes it the perfect base for exploring Provence - markets, ancient cities, lavender fields and vineyards.
There are events throughout the year, from jazz nights in the local wineries, with trestle tables set up for dinner, to the international book festival, concerts in the vines, food and wine walks, and village festivals.
The nearest town of Vaison la Romaine has a Provençal street market every Tuesday, lots of interesting shops and cafés, as well as a Roman theatre where concerts are held in the open air.
Cycling (mountain or road bike), walking, climbing, horse riding and tennis are all possible in and around the village.
