About the home

This apartment is furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Each of the three bedrooms is individually designed and furnished with a selection of beautiful fabrics and furniture. The large living area looks south,is set around a magnificent fireplace and has a terrace for soaking up the rays. Two of the bedrooms have fabulous mountain views. The main bathroom is equipped with bath, shower, jacuzzi. additionally there is a spare toilet and shower.
The apartment is a welcoming haven for adults and children alike with its roaring fire, games and DVDs.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region

Saas Fee lies in the beautiful Valais region. Valais lies in the South-West of Switzerland and stretches for 150 km along the narrow ribbon of the Rhône Valley between Lake Geneva and the Rhône Glacier. There is a wide range of holiday destinations in Valais which reflect the diversity of its landscape, of its flora and fauna and of its culture. The repertoire is endless and includes fashionable sports resorts, a water paradise for children, courses to make golfers' dreams come true, oases of well-being and a Mecca for winter hikers. In the Saas Valley one finds majestic, four thousand metre peaks and glaciers so close you could almost touch them.

The Saas Fee area

Saas Fee is a world renowned glacier village known as "the pearl of the alps". The village lies on a high plateau 1800 metres above sea level at the foot of the highest Swiss mountains, the Mischabel chain. No less than 13 four-thousand metre peaks encircle the village. As well as 100km of ski slopes, Saas Fee offers lots more winter fun for young and old alike. Owing to the fact that no cars are allowed in the village, it has retained its romantic character, and the lively main street invites you to enjoy a gentle stroll around the shops. The village is equally beautiful in the summer time and offers many opportunities for walking and hiking as well as adventure park for children. There is the highest ice pavilion in the world and a revolving restaurant at the Mittelallalin, 3500 metres above sea level.

Fly to Geneva, Milan or Zurich
There are regular trains from Geneva and Zurich to Visp (approx 2 1/2 hrs). If flying to Milan, take train from Arona station and you are in Brif in 1hrs 26 mins
From Brig and Visp there is a regular Postbus to Saas Fee

Chalet Haus Serac is a very beautiful and good situated chalet.
The house is very good equipped and big enough for 6 adults and eventually 2 children.
We enjoyed our stay very much and when possible we will come back.
