Alchemy has been described as "One of the most stylish homes to have been built in Mallorca in the last 20 years".
This stunning and unique contemporary take on the traditional Finca, is the embodiment of chic design, drawing influences from both the Moors and far Eastern philosophies.
It has featured in numerous magazines and as a location for filming and it's truly spectacular setting offers a zen like tranquility to all lucky enough to enjoy its charms.
The surrounding landscape is both beautiful and peaceful and often no sound is to be heard, save for the melodic clanking of the local goats bells.. Yet it is only 10k from them the many perfect beaches of NE Mallorca.
The house enjoys total privacy in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and with the picturesque village of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar only 3k away, guests will be able enjoy numerous restaurants ,featuring a range of cuisine from the fine dining to the rustic - and with a Michelin starred establishment in near by Sa Coma.
Alchemy was only recently completed and is the work of the owner and award wining Mallorquin architect Andrau Bennassar . Together , they have succeeded in creating an exquisite architectural masterpiece, using materials of an impeccably high standard.
From the moment guests walk in through the huge wooden pivot door, they are greeted by billowing white drapes that cover the enormous sliding windows, which glide into the walls, to create a sumptuous feeling of space ,calm and tranquilly..
Through out the house, the owners world class art collection - often of nudes - by celebrated photographers such as Helmet Newton ,further help to stamp Alchemy as a magical incarnation.
The main salon has a shimmering open flame gas fire, as well as furnishings by B&B Italia and deign classics like the Barcelona day bed. It's large sliding glass panels open onto the pool (14x4) and the many terraces, with different raised and sunken sun bathing areas. Adjacent to the pool is the striking geometric garden of oranges and lemons, which make for a lovely evenings stroll .
The front of the house features clipped cloud olive trees, as well as imposing Cypress trees and bourganvillia , beyond which is the tree lined drive and automatically operated electric gate and it's newly planted vineyard, which guests drive through on their arrival.
The kitchen was designed by Boffi and has a host of top appliances , which include waste disposal, wine chiller and Quooker boiling tap, as well as all the usual other fittings.
Each of the generous bedrooms has their own designer bathroom en-suite , with appliances by Duravit and again striking art work from Helmet Newton in each, so that there is no argument as to who has which.
Each has floor to ceiling windows that can be slid away to ensure there is no barrier between the user and the outside landscape.
Upstairs are two large roof terraces, as a well as a master suite with its own two balconies, and individually set mode light settings, safe and open plan bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower.
The house has been carefully designed to allow the wonderful natural breezes to flow through, keeping it pleasantly cool even in the peak of the summer months.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
The beautiful island of Mallorca is now universally recognised as one of the jewels of the Meditteranean . Away from its cosmopolitan capital, Palma ,the island boasts some of the most attractive scenery imaginable, with fields of oranges and lemons, fragrant olive trees and lines of vines gradually ripening in the warm, golden sun light.
Surprisingly tranquil in rural areas ,with many hidden locations and yet nowhere more than a few miles from one of its many beaches.
The island is dotted with sleepy villages to explore as well as rugged mountain walks and award winning restaurants.
Sa Coma, San Lorenzo
The Llevant hills in the east of Mallorca are one of the most beautiful areas of this enchanting island and yet, paradoxically, one of its most hidden and undiscovered .
With rolling hills covered in beautiful almond and olive trees,it's quiet lanes have little or no traffic - save for the local shepherds moving their flocks of goats and sheep, with their melodic clanking bells, an ever present sound.
The trees grown under the weight of countless oranges and visitors can wonder undisturbed for miles or simply rest by Alchemys stunning contemporary pool.
The near by village of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar is charming and unspoilt and is only a 5 minute drive away. There visitors can sample every sort of cuisine from the rustic to international gourmet standard. With a range of bars and shops , as well as its weekly market on Thursdays ,it offers a slice of the real Mallorca.
All this and yet the beaches of the east coast ,with resorts like Cala Millor and Sa Coma, as well as a myriad of hidden coves and bays only a few minutes drive away.
The ancient town of Arta is 6 miles away and it offers restaurants, shops, galleries and parks ,all worth exploring.
Palma and its international airport is only a 40 minute drive on the excellent modern highway, so guests can enjoy the best of the countryside with the big city temptations with easy reach too
