Sussex has much to offer from wonderful sandy beaches, to all the history of 1066 at Hastings and the smugglers haunts of Rye and Winchelsea.
Inland the region is teeming with wonderful country houses and castles to visit and some of the most renowned gardens in England including Penshurst Place and Great Dixter, both of which are within an hour.
