White Sand Holiday Cottages are a collection of attractive, traditionally-styled, brick and weather-boarded cottages that have been furnished and equipped to a high standard, combining modern luxuries with traditional design for the perfect seaside retreat. The cottages are ideally located in a new village-style development just a few minutes' walk from Camber Sands beach.

Artemis offers very comfortable accommodation furnished to a very high standard and decorated in a contemporary style with a light and airy open-plan living area. Well equipped for babies and toddlers the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends and has everything you need for a trip to the beach as well as entertainment for a rainy day. On warm summer evenings after a day on the beach, relax in the south-facing garden and enjoy the perfect spot for summer dining.

Ground floor

Large open plan kitchen and dining room with electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, dining table and six chairs. The large sitting room is roomy, light and airy with two sofas and shelves filled with plenty of interesting books and family games. There is a 39" LCD HD TV with Freeview, iPod docking system with radio, DVD player and Wi-Fi access. The french doors open out onto the decking area of the garden which is fully enclosed.

Downstairs cloakroom and understairs storage cupboard housing high chair, picnic basket and clothes drier.

First floor

Master bedroom with kingsize bed, bedside table and lamps, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers hairdryer and mirror. Ensuite shower room with powershower, basin and WC.

Bedroom two with double bed, bedside table and lamp, large wardrobes, chest of drawers, mirror and hairdryer.

Bedroom three with single bed, bedside table and wardrobe. Full size wooden cot.

Family bathroom with bath and power shower over, basin and WC.

Outside

South facing garden with decked patio area, garden table, chairs, parasol and gas BBQ. Garage for one car or secure storage of water sports equipment or bikes. Parking in the car port for one car and additional parking for one car behind this.

Booking information

Sorry no pets, strictly no smoking in this property. Prices include bed linen, bath towels, all utilities, pre-arrival and departure cleaning and a welcome pack. The changeover day for weekly bookings is Saturday in high season. Other start days may be possible on request in the low and mid-season. Short breaks may commence on any day.

There is a £24 booking fee per holiday and a £250 security deposit is required prior to arrival which can be pre-authorised on a credit/debit card.

Rye

Camber has become a popular place for water sports and it is a great place for kite surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, wake boarding and jet skiing that are all available locally either from the beach or on a large coastal lake just outside Camber. There is also sailing on the river Rother 3 miles from Camber.

For swimming, the beach boasts a yellow flag award from the MCS, the highest UK award for water quality standards. Golf lovers are well catered for with an impressive 44 courses within a 30 mile radius. Tennis courts and bicycle hire are also available locally. There are many local walks with natural and historical points of interest.

The village of Camber has a couple of pubs including The Dunes café and restaurant, and the award-winning Gallivant Bistro Restaurant which has a range of delicious dishes made from local, free range and organic ingredients with BBQ's in the summer. The Kit Kat Cafe is ideal for children being located right on the beach on the beach. The medieval town of Rye is about an 8 min drive and this also offers an excellent selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants. Alternatively buy and barbecue your own fresh seafood!
