Further details indoors:
The weather boarded cottage is approached through the front door into a cosy hallway with hanging for coats. This leads to the open plan sitting room with comfy banked seating (with double sofa-bed) surrounding the fireplace, TV with DVD, ipod speakers and a variety of indoor and outdoor games. Please note that the sofa bed is in the open plan living area and only suitable as an extra bed and not as a main sleeping area due to its location and the size of the room.
The kitchen has every conceivable machine including electric oven and hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is also a dining table which seats six comfortably. The washing machine, tumble dryer and a dedicated drinks fridge are in the utility room with a back door leading to the carport to the rear of the cottage. In addition on this floor is a cloakroom with a wide disabled access door, and a guest safe for valuables.
Upstairs the rooms are finished to a high standard with quality bedlinen. The main bedroom has a queen size double bed and fitted wardrobe. The second double room also has a queen size double bed. The bathroom is fully tiled with shower over the bath and the thoughtful owner has even provided large fluffy white towelling bathrobes for guests' use.
Further details outdoors:
There is a parking bay and communal garden and the village itself is well served with the renowned ‘The Place’ restaurant is within easy reach.

The South East England / Sussex region

Sussex is a county in South East England which has a long coastal area. The coastal towns include Hastings, Brighton, Worthing and Bognor.
The weather in Sussex is some of the best in Great Britain: it has on average more sunshine than any other mainland county.
The Rye area
Camber Sands is the ultimate sandy beach with a mile long stretch of beach to the south of the smugglers town Rye. The sands stretch as far as the eye can see in both directions and at low tide the sea can be as much as half a mile from the sand dunes!
Rye, 5 miles to the north, is a wonderful mix of winding medieval streets, antique shops and boutiques and the ‘Olde worlde’ charm of a port famous for its smuggling. The town has a water sports centre and tennis courts. The unspoilt marshlands of Romney Marsh, beloved of painters for its light and skies, lies just north of Camber. It is ideal for long country walks and bird watching with the odd stop off at the many village pubs that are scattered throughout the stunning countryside.
For golfers, there are courses at both Littlestone and the championship course at Rye itself. This part of the coastline has more castles to visit than anywhere else in England so you will be spoilt for choice!
