Charming house in central Rye close to the medieval Landgate an arch entrance to old Rye. Once a cinema and former shop the property has been restored into a stylish spacious interior.

Enter through archway, down side passageway to private patio. The ground floor is open plan, kitchen, dining and living. Also on ground floor is shower room with toilet and cloakroom area. Tied floor. Leather sofa bed. Well equipped kitchen and well stocked store cupboard of useful condiments. TV/DVD

Upstairs there is two bedrooms one double and a twin with single beds, another large living area with leather sofa bed and large HDTV/DVD, plus a romantic bathroom with roll top bath and toilet. Wooden floors and shagpile carpets.

Pets and children welcome, lockable gates for the patio. Good facilities for babies and toddlers, toys, cot, mosses basket, chairs, change mat etc. Bedlinen, towels and bathtime bits provided.

There is outside on road parking , easy access and loading. Internet and good mobile reception. Late night supermarket and petrol just around corner.

Brilliantly situated in Rye just 5 minutes from centre and all places of historic interest, the Salts fields and playground, cycle path to Camber Sands ( the best sandy beach on south coast). Great view of the famous Rye Bonfire Procession as passes the front window. The house offers a fun holiday for groups, families or couples.

"spot on"

Loved our visit here, our 2yo boy still fondly refers to his time staying in 'the cottage'. Ideally located, and easy to get to without a car. Secure and comfortable, and helpful directions/information from the owner. We recommend a trip to the Ypres Inn and a walk across the nature reserve.
