"A lovely cozy cottage ......."
A lovely cozy cottage with everything you could want. A real home away from home in a fantastic location. A short walk to the Mermaid, even closer to Simply Italian and numerous cafes where we enjoyed morning coffee and cakes. The main high street was minutes away so you were never too far from anything. The owner Dani was easily contactable, friendly and very helpful - thank you Dani, we had a wonderful stay at your charming cottage!

"What a lovely place! Better than expected"
Dani, our host, is great and easy to deal with. The cottage is really cosy. Great rooms with a tasteful and cute interior. Super clean and tidy with all amenities provided. We hope to book again :)

Undercliff Cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. Immaculately clean and tidy and very well appointed with an excellent kitchen. We ate in quite a lot and it was great to have a proper kitchen and oven. Our only slight niggle was the absence of a wi fi connection. Rye is the most idyllic and picturesque of towns and to be located literally only two minutes from the lower end of Mermaid Street couldn't have bettered. We will definitely be returning to Undercliff Cottage

"A lovely cottage that is very close to Restaurants and Bars"
"I spent a perfect weekend with my sister in this lovely cottage which was very comfortable, clean and everything you could wish for for a self catering holiday/break. We ate out for all meals as there are cafes, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. The owners provide a parking permit which is very useful and a nice touch. I loved it so much I have booked to stay here again and cannot wait!"

"Cute Charming Cottage"
After spending 2 weeks in France and a long train ride from Lyon, it was great to spend some quiet time in Rye, and at Dani's house. It was ideal for the two of us. Large up-to-date kitchen, cozy living room, spacious bathroom, and a comfortable bed. I also have to mention how accommodating Dani was in regards to our tight schedule, we certainly appreciated it!

"Lovely cottage. Comfortable and clean."
It's really a lovely cottage! It was very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Mermaid Street and all the cobblestone streets. Dani was very helpful, as we needed information about where to park our cars (you'll get a permit for one car). It was really convenient that there was a high chair available.

"Girly weekend away"
4 friends away for the weekend. Great cottage, very cosy with all you need. Close to town centre with excellent pub and restaurant seconds away. Fab little garden with decking and table and chairs, a real sun trap. Spent the saturday night in, all the mod cons. Will definately recommend.

"Cosy cottage with all mod cons; good location close to all amenities."
My family (two adults, two teenagers) enjoyed a short break at Undercliff Cottage. This cosy cottage has recently been refurbished in a tasteful ‘shabby chic’ style, with all mod cons for a ‘home from home’ stay. There’s no on-site parking so visitors with mobility problems should consider this, but the owners have kindly provided a parking permit for use at a public car park close by. The cottage location was excellent – very close to all Rye has to offer including shops and eateries. Rye is a lovely small town with many interesting shops and places to eat, and if you take the time, lots of history to uncover too. Restaurants we particularly liked were Simply Italian – a minute’s walk or thereabouts from the cottage and Webbe’s at The Fish Café in Tower Street. Rye is well placed for exploring the Sussex coast – and a short drive to Camber Sands (bring your wellies off season!).

The cottage is delightful with lots of lovely little touches and everything that you might need. Owners are very friendly and available for any questions. Location is perfect for pottering around Rye and our boys loved going to Camber sands which is only a 10 minute drive away. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here, we can't wait to go back!
