Enquire nowThe South East England / Sussex region
It is no exageration to state that the local region contains something for everyone!
The coastline speaks for itself, with the huge Camber Sands literally at your doorstep. There are plenty of interesting coastal towns to explore within a short drive or bus ride away. The picturesque town of Rye is the closest - just a ten minute drive away. It's ancient medieval streets contain an impressive number of inspiring shops (antiques in particular), cafes and restaurants.
For the explorers, miniature railway, farms, and castles are to name but a few of the day trips that could comfortably be reached from the property. The shingle expanse & extraordinary landscape of Dungeness must also be seen.

French invaders over the centuries. Food available at the bar or in the restaurant.
4. The Rye Retreat: 'Aveda' salon - a great place to be pampered, de-stressed and
spoilt.

Recently returned from a lovely week's stay at Rye Bay Beach House in (and practically on!) Camber Sands. On arrival, we were very kindly left a welcome pack of locally made scones with clotted cream and jam (yummy!), together with milk, apple juice etc - a nice touch and very much appreciated! The house is very homely, has everything you would need including amazingly comfortable beds with top quality linen - making it very difficult to get out of in the mornings!!! The only item we did miss, and this was probably noticed more due to the fact we had to get dressed up to attend a wedding in Camber, was a full length mirror, but this was the only item we did miss in an otherwise perfect stay! |

We loved this house - everything we needed for a beach holiday was there already, including buckets and spades, frisbees, beach mats and towels. The place was equipped with kids in mind. There was a... more |

The modern designer feel of the house proves an ideal base from which to explore Rye and Camber Sands. The bed and bedroom were a real treat and the kitchen area had everything you could need. Table tennis downstairs was certainly our highlight. Must also recommend hiring a kite on the beach even if you've never done it before. |
