Fernhill Farm is home to two stunning, purpose built barn conversions called Lacewood Barn and Oak Barn, which are set within a peaceful farm location. Close by and within easy reach is the popular town of Ryde and its surrounding beaches.

Internally, each barn retains many character features including wooden beams in the vaulted ceiling and woodburners that act as a focal point for the living area. Externally, the patios and enclosed rear gardens can be accessed through double doors from the living area and each feature a table and four chairs, ideal for dining al fresco. The two gardens are separated by a removable fence panel which can be removed on request to create a large spacious garden area.

For a range of amenities the town of Wootton is close by. Wooton is a village which has a little Tesco, various take away venues and pubs, all within a few minutes' walk. The Lakeside Hotel and Spa is close to the farm where guests can go to for an evening meal, and all guests at Fernhill Farm receive a 20% discount off the spa treatments available at the hotel. As well as the hotel restaurant there is The Sloop Inn, which is a carvery style pub which has pub gardens and lovely views.

Alternatively, the popular seaside town of Ryde is a short drive away. Ryde is the largest town on the island and boasts miles of golden sandy beaches and an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions.

Both properties are located on site at Fernhill Farm and are self-contained. They do not feature interconnecting doors.

The Isle of Wight region

Less than 5 miles from Hampshire, the Isle of Wight shimmers in the English Channel. Notorious for its unspoilt beauty, leading sailing port of Cowes and many outdoor activities, the Isle of Wight holiday is perfect for getting away from it all - at any time of year. Whether you enjoy sunny days on the beach, portside pursuits or family days out, Blue Chip Holidays' Isle of Wight holiday cottages will position you right where you need to be. The Isle of Wight was home to Queen Victoria and Lord Tennyson. Cowes holds the oldest regatta in the world, Cowes Week. Jimi Hendrix gave his last major performance on the Isle of Wight.

Ryde

Ryde's beaches stretch for more than six blissful miles, and it's one of those resorts that seem to have a feel good atmosphere all year round. Better yet, the position of the town means it's well-served by a hovercraft and a catamaran that bring passengers to and from the mainland – so it gets more visitors than any other area of the Isle of Wight. Ryde holiday cottages attract couples (thanks to the quieter coves and romantic views), families (who enjoy the great connections and many attractions) and those who simply love the island, so expect a bustling town with lots to see and do. Ticket to Ride' was inspired by a trip John Lennon and Paul McCartney took to Ryde. Ryde is known for its expansive beaches that appear at low tide. Hovercrafts and Catamarans connect Ryde to the mainland.
