Available are two/three double rooms, spacious bathroom with shower and hall upstairs, downstairs consists of an open planned kitchen dining room with integrated appliances, toilet/shower room and large reception room with access to two patio areas both with stunning views, private entrance, ample parking and an established private garden.

There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity including, Rutland Water, Wakerley Great Woods, Barnsdale Gardens and Burghley House, home of the famous Burghley Horse Trials.

There are numerous quality restaurants and pubs in the area, many in fabulous village locations the nearest is 1km to The Exeter Arms Barrowden, For those who like old English market towns: Uppingham and Stamford hold a friendly Friday market.

The station is a well-equipped self-contained converted station for up to 8 guests and appeals to couples, friends, families, groups, independent tourists and train enthusiasts.Short term commercial let will also be considered. One king size and double bedroom upstairs and two double sofa beds downstairs.

Every room offers a view, provides comfortable accommodation and period features to include the stations high ceilings and the original grand victorian staircase dating back to 1875, which lead waiting passengers to the platform. Each room used to serve differing purposes in the life of the Station.

Ticket office downstairs used as a waiting room and a parcel office , now offers a kitchen and seperate dinning room and has the facility to offer extra sleeping accommodation.

This station offers a very spacious reception room to include the latest Samsung Entertainment System.

Wakerley and Barrowden old railway station was owned by the London and North Western Railway but from 1883 to 1916 was also served by trains of the Great Northern Railway. Wakereley and Barrowden Railway line stopped at Seaton and KingsCliffe. London and North Western Railway, started at Rugby to Peterborough East and the Great Northern Railway, Leicester Belgrave Road to Peterborough North

The station closed in 1966 and remained unused until the convertion into residential use 1992-1996, carried out by the current owners of which has recently been refurbished.
