Stable Cottage offers a cosy, romantic setting in a convenient, central location near Corwen, North Wales. The cottage is surrounded by magnificent gardens and has a large games room on site. Lakes, Snowdonia mountains, national trust properties and castles are all on your doorstep. Llangollen (10 miles) offers another great day out with lots of little shops, fabulous restaurants, riverside walks, canal boats and steam trains. The Roman city of Chester is also a short drive away.

Ground Floor

The cosy lounge with its whitewashed stone walls, large bed settee and matching armchair in front of a log burner, TV and DVD provides the perfect setting for a romantic break. Stairs lead up from the lounge to a gallery landing.

Lovely, fully fitted country style kitchen with integrated washing machine & dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven. It also has a dining table and chairs and a small WC off the kitchen.


Upstairs you have a beautiful open plan, galleried bedroom with a king size, luxury bed. It also has an en-suite shower room, double wardrobe and dressing table.


As guests of the cottage you have access to Rose Garden and Orchard Garden with seating areas, BBQ's, giant draughts set and games room (details below). There is also an enclosed paddock, where you can play football, practice your golf, or exercise your dog.

Stable Cottage is situated at the court yard at the rear of the Country House and Corwen town is less than 1 mile. There is a great village pub The Grouse, it sells good Ales, and good pub food, with great views of the River Dee. Conveniently located on the A5 in a beautiful scenic area. A great central location for all the attractions of North Wales.

Stable Cottage is on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Lakes, mountains, canals, steam trains, national trust properties and castles are all on your doorstep. Within 10-15 minutes drive, you are in Llangollen; a lovely town on the river, with lots of little shops, and some fabulous restaurants. A great day out with riverside walks, canal boat rides (including Thomas Telford's Aqueduct crossing), and a ride on the old steam trains. The Roman city of Chester is also a short drive away.

"Very luxurious and at the same time comfortable and cosy."
