"Perfect little haven."
We stayed in this beautiful property for 5 weeks and it was perfect. It was within walking distance to ruthin castle and the town centre and was a perfect central base to travel around north wales and central uk. The accommodation was a good size for 2 adults and 3 children. The views of the water from the outside balcony was stunning. Very clean and everything was there that was needed....a quiet location in a stunning part of north wales.
we thank these guests for the review and are glad that they enjoyed their stay ...particularly as they had travelled so far we look forward to hosting them again in the future !

"Ideal accommodation for Ruthin-based holiday"
We spent most of our week's holiday walking - circuits of Offa's Dyke Path, Vale of Clwyd and the Clwydian Range as well as town walks including Denbigh, Llangollen and Ruthin itself. Gary and Cerys provide excellent accommodation being very near the centre of Ruthin yet in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the park. There are lots of activities for children nearby too. It must be the best-equipped self-catering apartment we have experienced!!
Thanks for your review ..we are glad that you point out the great walks in the area as this is area has fantastic walks ...and is also a popular area for cycling ...many thanks /diolch yn fawr

My partner & I wanted to take my elderly mother back to Ruthin where she'd lived for 30 years. I thought it was going to be difficult to find somewhere accessible that would also allow pets, but Llety Maes Ffynnon was perfect! Mum has poor mobility, but the apartment was ideal for her as there was enough room for her to push her "walker" around and the floors were hard, not carpeted. She was able to shower easily and a perching stool was provided. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. There was a selection of DVD's, books and magazines, a play station and unlimited wifi. Gary and Carys had even put some milk and a couple of beers in the fridge for us. Most welcome after a four hour journey! The nicest part was being able to sit out on the balcony overlooking the park and lake. Each morning and evening we were visited by 2 swans and their 8 cygnets. They obviously know where to go for food! Llety Maes Ffynnon is ideally situated as it's only a few minutes walk into town and to the park. Ruthin is a great base for exploring North Wales, and it was lovely to go back. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Ruthin, and hope to return again one day
we are so pleased that you thought so highly of our property and glad that the investment we made in extending the balcony is proving to be worthwhile .we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

"Great value, great location"
Ruthin is small but very well featured. It is marvellously located for great walking and cycling which is precisely what we did, superb views everywhere. There were enough pubs, tea rooms and restaurants to not repeat them. On the one wet day we had we drove for less than an hour to reach one of the many 'touristy' places nearby.
A super little town in a fantastic location for outdoor people.

"A wonderful gem of an apartment"
We loved the apartment. It was cosy, and very well equipped and laid out, making excellent use of available space. The setting was idyllic, overlooking a lake with an island, and at this time of year, full of baby ducklings, moorhens, and cygnets with their parents. Beyond the lake was a lovely park, which was well used. We stayed in Ruthin to do part of the Offa's Dyke walk, but we would happily return, to stay in the area and explore.
Thank you for your kind comments .We will be installing another casserole dish a.s.a.p[we were not aware it had gone]we are hoping to welcome keen walkers as yourselves to this wonderful part of the country .Diolch yn fawr !

"Cosy, clean and comfortable"
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the apartment. Lovely town of Ruthin short walk away with some nice independent shops and farmers market on Saturday. Park, tennis courts and driving range all very close. Playstation very useful for teenagers. Ducks swimming past the balcony window daily. Lovely and relaxing place to stay. Would happily return. Made very welcome by owners.
we thank you for your review and look forward to seeing you again in the future

"Good quiet location for a holiday in North Wales"
The apartment is nicely located in Ruthin and very covenient to the town and its facilities. It was clean and well prepared for us on entry. We liked the outlook from the living room area to the lake and park beyond.
The owners were attentive and helpful.
Perhaps a minor crticism would be that car parking for more than one car is a bit of a problem, but this is due to the nature of the access.
We thank you for your comments ,we find that generally as we accomodate up to five, most customers arrive in one car however if more than one is required we can accommodate a second car within 30 yards of the property. We ask that you inform us prior to your arrival. Many Thanks/Diolch yn fawr
