The West Sussex region

Rustington is located south of the South Downs, which enjoys a milder and sunnier climate than the rest of Great Britain. It is also in an ideal spot to set out from to explore the many attractions this part of Sussex has to offer - places to visit, sights to see and activities to do.

Rustington

Rustington is a seaside town / village situated on a quiet, unspoilt part of the Sussex coastline. Walk to the beach in 1 minute. Walk to Rustington shopping centre in 5 - 10 minutes, where there is a fine selection of shops, cafes and local amenities (also free parking if you prefer to drive). From Sea-Breeze walk eastwards along the shore for miles and enjoy uninterrupted beach, no roads or traffic, few people, just plenty of shoreline, seabirds and sea air. Walk westwards for 2km to visit the lively resort of Littlehampton, its harbour, funfair, numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs, cross the bridge to the beautiful Climping beach, take a boat on the River Arun. Drive westwards for 13km or take the bus to visit the excellent shopping centre, leisure facilities and pier at Worthing. Drive further (36km from Rustington) or take the train to Brighton with its too many to mention attractions. Go inland to picturesque Arundel (9km from Rustington) and visit its magificent castle and extensive grounds, its antique shops and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre. Travel further west to the historic market town of Chichester (25 km from Rustington), walk around the harbour, visit its Norman cathedral or the famous Festival Theatre, or the nearby Roman villa at Fishbourne.

Walk or cycle the South Downs. Practise various water sports at Littlehampton. Ride a horse. Golf at one of the many local golf courses (the nearest is a 10 minute drive away). Do some sea fishing. Watch the horse racing at Brighton or Fontwell Park (17km). Enjoy the motorsport or horseracing at Goodwood (29km away).

Peaceful, scenic, cultural, active. You choose.

"What a peaceful haven - so comfortable and homely!"

We were desperate to find rental acommodation just before Christmas after a very hectic house move. Our new house was not ready to complete and we were going aboard to visit our Daughter for Christmas. The owner Christine was so kind and agreed to our booking at last minute. Sea Breeze literally has the beach at the end of the road, and the bungalow is so comfortable and homely, with everything you need. It is also good for less mobile people being spacious and has a walk-in shower. Pubs, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. We would recommend it to all our friends and family.

"How lucky were we!"

Fell into this property by accident. Had originally agreed to go to another property, but a time delay on my part and the other property had been part let. Didn't entertain properties originally, that allowed pets, having had a bad experience in the past with cleanliness. Had a good feeling about this property from the moment Christine (owner) replied to my email. On arrival it was clean, homely and inviting. The property was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. We were informed on arrival that there were a couple of minor problems, neither of which had any bearing on a lovely holiday. Only down side I can see is that I might have competition to rebook next year.
