"Estate under the paintbrush" is a family-run estate located in the village Rukavac on the southeastern side of the Vis island. It is situated on a hill slope in the upper part of the village, with no view of the sea, rather overlooking beautiful trees and rich greenery. The sea is about 600m if you follow the tarmac road to the bay of Rukavac and about 500m to the bay "Mala Srebrna" which is part of the bay "Srebrna".
belongs to Smiljana and Mirko Isaeski and offers one apartment – Jana.
Apartment JANA is on the first floor of the house. It's a large space that overlooks the pine trees and the south side of the backyard; it has plenty of light and a lot of comfort. There is a covered balcony and a big garden terrace which offers relaxation and peace in the beauty of the garden.
Apartment amenities: 65m². Two bedrooms, living room, bathroom, open kitchen and covered balcony. Two single beds and one French bed. Accommodates 4 people
“Fascinating”, “Divine”, “Pearl of the Adriatic”, “Island paradise” - these are just some of the epithets used to describe the island of Vis by people who come here from all over the world. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has included Vis in the last ten remaining paradises of the Mediterranean.
Estate under the Paintbrush is an incredible space, an island on an island, a unique blend of beauty, art and nature. It is located in a small village Rukavac, a peaceful and quaint village suited for relaxation and located in the south-east side of the island of Vis, only 8km away from the city of Vis and 20km away from the city of Komiza.
The Estate under the Paintbrush is 800 m away from the sea, surrounded by lush vegetation, a magic oasis filled with harmony, beauty and creativity.
With its cozy and artistically created space, you can find the house Camellia and the wonderful Mediterranean garden situated on 1500m².
The Estate, together with the island, serves as a wonderful relaxation spot where one can nourish the body and the spirit completely.
The Mediterranean garden offers a deep meditative fullfillment in the scents, colors and sounds of the garden, and the art that is deeply woven into the whole space. The garden offers an unconventional approach in using the terrain, artistically playful, rich in plants: lemons, oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, figs, almonds, olives, walnut, cherry, peach, laurel, aloe, strawberry trees, myrtle, lavender, rosemary, palms, roses flowers and organically grown vegetables and herbs.
The Open Atelier of artist Josip Karakash can be found in the Camellia house. It's an open space of 70m², where the artist's work is exhibited. The space, however, is open to all art lovers. You should just ask the artist himself, and he will guide you through the gates of his imagination and creativity.
This space is also used for gatherings, creative workshops, yoga classes, lazy evenings.
A multifunctional space - filled with light, creative and positive energy, overlooking the pine forest and the greenery - this truly is the Jewel of Estate under the Paintbrush.
