The villa is within easy reach of unspoilt beaches; Royan, La Palmyre and Fouras and only 10 mins away from the historic Roman town of Saintes. Our holiday home is well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated, in its own private garden and is child safe (with lockable gates).

The villa consists of a comfortable lounge/dining area with two leather sofas, southerly facing with an 8 foot patio window. An archway leads to the well equipped modern kitchen. To the rear of the villa there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedded room. There is a separate toilet and a separate bathroom with shower cubicle. Electric heating and log burner are available and plenty of hot water. Easy access for the less mobile -There are no stairs as the villa sits on one level.

The villa sits within a large private fenced garden (with lockable gates for child safety), with ample room to play football etc. A plunge pool is provided for cooling off during the hot summer days. Around the property there are delightful seating areas for those long summer evenings. Sun loungers, patio table and chairs, gas barbecue all available for use. Off road parking for 2 cars.
Conditions
If you would like to book we require 20% deposit at the time of booking, followed by the remaining balance 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday along with a refundable security deposit of £200. Smoking is not permitted in the villa.
Welcome Pack
We also provide a complimentary welcome pack to enable you to at least have a cuppa on arrival. Changeover day is Saturday but flexible out of peak season. Arrivals welcomed from 3pm on Saturday. Departures by 10am on Saturday.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente Maritime region
There is so much to do in the Charente Maritime, ‘The second sunniest department in France. It is a beautiful region with wonderful countryside, fields full of sunflowers and grape vines.
There are long white sandy beaches backed by fragrant pine forests for those wanting to relax and recuperate. There are plenty of historic towns and villages, markets, châteaux and forests to visit including the beautiful town of Saintes only 10 mins away with a pretty river running through the town and Cognac where there are five Cognac houses to visit, to take a tour of or tastings.
The seaside resorts such as La Rochelle also host a famous aquarium, Royan and the islands of Oléron, Aix and Ré. There is also the famous Futuroscope theme park and of course La Palmyre Zoo all make great days out.

Lovely Bungalow type property with good garden space, set in a quiet village. Everything was available to us in the property that we expected. Modern decor but with a lovely homely feel. Lots within a short drive to do if you want to or just sit and relax. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definatly book again. |
