About the home

16 Forest Hills is the best located two bedroom villa in the exclusive Royal Westmoreland Golf Resort. It is set amongst beautifully manicured gardens with commanding views of the communal pool, lake and the ocean beyond.

This tastefully furnished and luxuriously appointed split level villa comes with a daily housekeeper and provides an ideal base for those seeking a challenging golfing holiday and for non-golfing families alike. The en suite master bedroom and en suite guest bedroom are on the lower level. Both bedrooms are fully air conditioned with French doors leading out onto the gardens and the large communal pool which is just a few feet away. The open plan living and dining areas, along with the fully fitted kitchen, are on the upper level. Leading from the living areas is a large partially covered terrace which is perfect for al fresco dining and cocktails.

Guests staying at 16 Forest Hills will receive access to all the amazing resort facilities of Royal Westmoreland including the spa and beach facilities at Mullins, St Peter, a ten minute drive away.

16 Forest Hills is owned by John and Susan Holder who live in Fulham, London. Susan was born and raised in Barbados and has many family and friends there so is the perfect contact for all the local knowledge. Together with our 6 year old daughter Georgia, we spend around 8 weeks a year in our villa so it really is a "home from home".

There is a separate guest bathroom on the ground flooor. The twin beds in the guest bedroom can be converted into a double bed upon request.

The facilities of Royal Westmoreland, which can now be seen on You Tube, are second to none in Barbados. A short drive away are some superb restaurants including The Cliff, Tides, Lone Star, Daphnes, The Mews, Sandy Lane, Sandpiper, and Coral Reef Club to mention just a few. Some of the highlights of our holidays in Barbados are visiting Crane Beach, voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world, driving around the North and East of the island, sailing up the West Coast on the luxury catamaran Silver Moon, and, naturally, playing the magnificent golf course.

As you enter Royal Westmoreland and directly opposite our villa is the new Rum Shack which is great for a light evening snack and for sampling the local rums. A five-minute walk from our villa is The Sanctuary where there is a fully fitted air-conditioned gym, another large communal pool and snack bar. The magnificent golf Clubhouse is opposite the Sanctuary where there is a golf shop, restuarant and bar.

We just loved staying at your villa. Everything was perfect! Enjoyed the champagne on arrival. Maureen (our previous housekeeper) was great. Hope to return next year.

Stunning villa! A perfect holiday, loved every minute of it, so much to see. Beaches are beautiful, people are so warm and friendly and Maureen - well what can we say - a lovely lady.

We've had a wonderful 2 weeks in your beautiful villa which was made very special by Shirley (our new housekeeper) who looked after us so well! Superb food and superb people.
