About this location
The Paphos District
Floating on the waters of the European Mediterranean, but pointing longingly towards the shores of the Middle East, Cyprus is a unique mixture. It is a kaleidoscopic blend: its cultural influences are dominated by Western Europe, but its geographic proximity to Asia and Africa gives it more than just a hint of the East. Long coveted by mainland Greece and Turkey, this small island has its own definite and beguiling character.
Whether you know it as the ‘island of sin’ (or ‘fun’) thanks to wild stories from Agia Napa; or, as the tourist brochures love to point out, ‘the island of Aphrodite’, Cyprus is the perfect holiday location. Whether you are looking to lie by the beach, dine at the local tavernas and restaurants, laze at the pool, play sports or tour the many historical sites, Cyprus has something for everyone.
Linked by a road artery, Kato Pafos (Lower Pafos) and Ktima (Upper Pafos) form an interesting whole. Kato Pafos, the tourist centre, has neon lights, music, bars and clubs for the young and young at heart; yet it has the most relaxing of sea fronts awash with local eateries and also has the South’s most fascinating archaeological sites.
Ktima, the real centre of Pafos, has managed to retain its character; it’s a calmer place where ‘real Pafiots’ go about their daily business. It has lovely colonial buildings housing government institutions and many of the town’s museums. But the highlight is its excellent restaurants, cafes and market stalls.

"Fabulous apartment in a great location"
We were two couples staying in this apartment and found it great. There was plently of space and having two bathrooms meant we were never getting in each others way. It is really well decorated, clean and comfortable. There was a great welcome pack - some bread, coffee, tea, milk, water - to get us started. The pool was lovely and the whole complex was very clean and safe. It is located just a few minutes walk from a great stretch of bars and restaurants, within walking distance to the old town and harbour, and there were bus stops really close by for when we didn't feel like walking anymore! We will certainly be going back!

We could not believe the fantastic weather in early November, shorter days but still in the mid 20's so just right for a family holiday. We spent most days on the beach at Coral Bay which is just a short bus ride away, the bus service is great, you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for one and they only charge 1 euro per adult wherever you go, it was so easy. The main strip of restaurants and bars was just a five minute walk away, there were many places to eat and drink and the locals just loved the children. Our favourite was Fat Mammas, lovely food with massive portions, order the small choice unless you are starving! The waiters and waitresses sang between service and at 9 each night they put on a little show, the children loved it. The property itself was lovely, really just like being at home, there was a main bathroom with bath and shower above and an en suite in the main bedroom, the rooms were bigger than we have at home, the shower in the ensuite was massive and the pressure was really good, not like in some hotels where you really notice if someone else is having a shower too! The kitchen had everything you could need in it, a washing machine which is great if you have small children, all the mod cons and we really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jams, coffee etc.
The pool was spotless and cleaned every day but a little cool this time of the year. The balcony was a lovely place to be in the morning as the sun came up over the apartments, a lovely way to start your day with breakfast in the sun. We have a two year old and although the balcony does have bars you do need to watch children as he would pull up a chair and stand on it, all common sense though. The lovely people from Sunrise Cyprus (thanks guys) even organised our airport transfers and they guy was so helpful, he even took us on a little detour to the harbour to show us all the good places to go if we wanted cheap cigarettes, wine, etc and where to exchange your money at a good rate. It is worth taking sterling and changing it there at the moment as the exchange rate over here is only around 1.06 and there it is 1.13, the difference will pay for a glass of wine or two! I would definitely recommend the apartment, we are already looking at going back again next year and have very fond memories of Cyprus and the Seacrest apartment.

"Fantastic and can't wait to return!"
We stayed for one week at B206 in August at Royal Seacrest. The apartment was fantastic and had everything we needed. Really appreciated the welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. Complex has 2 large pools and a childrens pool and had plenty of sun loungers. There is even a gym within the complex. Apartment is a 2min walk to excellent restaurants, bars and other facilites. Bus service great and cheap. The locals are very friendly.
I loved it there and cant wait to go back next year!

"First class - the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in."
This rental was absolutely first class. The apartment is on the top floor of the Royal Seacrest complex and was spotlessly clean with new furniture and a well equipped kitchen. My family and I would… More
