The flat is newly refurbished and very well appointed. Chessels Court is the only grassed court on the Royal Mileand is sometimes the venue for Festival events. The location is perfect for sightseeing, Festival or business stays. It is within easy walking distance of the Castle, Holyrood Palace, Discovery Dome, the Parliament Building and Business Centre - to list but a few of the attractions!
There is a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and pubs on the Royal Mile and discounts have been arranged with some of the best of these for our guests. The flat is on the quieter end of the Mile, so when you want to escape the bustle of the town you are only a short walk away.
Museums and Art Galleries are many and easily reached as well as Princes St. Gardens and shops. We are only 5 minutes from the Railway Station and 20 minutes from Airport.
This is a family let and we will do our very best to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay!!

There is ample storage in the hallway and both bedrooms have large integral wardrobes and drawer chests. The double room has two windows with lovely view of the Court gardens. There is ample space in this room for a cot(if requested).
The twin room also has two windows overlooking the Royal Mile. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathroom has bath, shower and wash stand.
Large lounge has dining area with dresser and extendible table to comfortably seat six. Bay window overlooks Court.
Deposit of 15% is payable on booking and balance to be paid 28 days before arrival. We will do our best to accommodate guests with any special requirements.
The Edinburgh region
Edinburgh is Capital City of Scotland, famous for its festival which is world renowned. Many of Scotland's most beautiful and historic sites are accessible even out with the city e.g Stirling Castle, a short train ride to Glasgow with its many attractions and university.
The Lothians also offer many lovely rural villages and walks with golf, fishing, horse-riding , and an artificial ski slope and hill-walking.
The Royal Mile is home to many oft he city's most visited attractions. It also houses many of the venues for Festival events.
There are many places to eat from top-class restaurants to traditional coffee houses.
The Mile is easily reached road rail or plane. It allows access to most of the city's attractions without the need for a car.

"Cosy flat - perfectly located for visiting the city and Fringe shows"
We spent 4 nights in the flat - my husband and myself, our 18 year old daughter and a friend and our 21 year old son (who slept on the sofa-bed in the lounge). The size of the flat was fine given the short duration of our stay and that we were out a lot of the time. The location was perfect; withn easy reach on foot to many of the Fringe venues and lots of cafes and restaurants and a local small supermarket. No point bringing your car to Edinburgh. We left our car at one of the Park & Rides and came in by bus. Moira, the owner, was very welcoming and helfpul. The ony thing that did not work so well was the Wireless Wifi which was unreliable and seemed to work better on our daughter's i-pod than on the laptop! All together a cosy and perfectly convenient place to stay.

"Convenient, clean and everything we required."
Very conveniently placed, easy access to all areas of Edinburgh but not in the very 'noisy' centre. Everything you needed was provided and the Landlady very thoughtful and informative. Stayed with family and would recommend
