"Excellent, comfortable, well-supplied cottage"
This beautiful cottage provided us with fantastic accommodation for our stay. The large, comfortable rooms (only the bathroom is on the small side) are well-fitted with more than you need and the cottage is finished to a very high standard.
The weather was pretty grim but the cottage was very cosy and warm.
We all loved the table tennis table!
The location is also ideal with easy drives to the coast and the mountains.

"Excellent holiday rental"
We spent one week in this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is a self contained wing of the main house. Inside, it's very clean and well decorated, every bit as good as the photos suggest. The property is well equiped and contained everything we needed for our holiday. The location is about 3 miles outside of Conwy, it's a short easy drive to get into town. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, a perfect retreat after busy days out and about. We can't speak too highly of this place as it's one of the best holiday rentals we've stayed in.

"This is a beautiful home."
This a beautiful cottage, actually a wing of the owners home. My partner and I found the interiors prettier than in the pictures and very comfortable with lovely views out the rear windows. It is private and quite and has its own parking just outside the private courtyard.
The owner, Niel Ryder, was friendly and helpful. I really can't think of anything negative to say about the place. This was our fifth trip to the UK but first to Wales and we loved it, especially North Wales!

Delighted with the accommodation, a beautiful setting and the accommodation matched the beauty of the surroundings. We combined our stay with work appointments in Conwy and Is-y-coed is an antidote to the traffic, parking, and hustle bustle of the town; with the added bonus of being far superior to anything available within the medieval walls.
