Thankyou for your positive feedback and we are pleased you all enjoyed your stay at The Hayloft.
If I may , I will contact you directly to understand your comments more fully about the double bed.
The mattress is from John Lewis and hasn't overly been used since we purchased it , however as you say taste can be a factor so we fully understand .
We will also check the radiator in the twin bedroom as the very warm October has meant we have only recently needed the central heating on and they may need bleeding .

Thankyou for your comments , which we value whether good or bad.
As your stay with us was some months ago , there has since been quite alot of work done to repair and replace items such as the shower.
We also have new TV remote control !
Cobwebs are a constant challenge in a Grade II Listed barn , paricularly amongst the roof beams that are out of normal arm's reach . We have a new cleaning tool which appears to be doing a better job.
We've noted your comments about further cleaning of the kitchen floor beneath the fridge and also under the couch. I can only appologise for this as we spend a good number of hours at The Hayloft each weekend , to make sure everything is in top condition for new guests.

"Did the job but could do with a bit of an overhaul"
On the positive, it was a great location for us to use as a base to get to child-based attractions, Dinosaur Adventure, Bewilderwood, Gt Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and the 2 bedrooms worked well for two … More
Thankyou for your comments , and as you would expect , we take all guest feedback very seriously , whether good or bad.
The heating engineer inspected the boiler before your visit and confirmed that there was no mechanical fault and was safe to use.
The untility room was then fully ventilated and the expectation was that the issue had been cured .
We were told that the smell of oil was associated with the very hot weather . We think this must be the case as it is no longer evident and subsequent guests have not noted any problem .
That said , we don't want this to re-occur and feel this is a good time to upgrade the heating and are now commissioning a brand new boiler to be fitted.
We are sorry you found one or two shortcomings with the kitchen kettle and sticky worksurface. This has since been addressed.
The cobwebs are a constant challenge in a Grade II Listed Barn , not least in the beams ( a longer duster now means we are winning this battle ! )
In terms of road noise from the B1436, this can be a little busier than normal in the summer holidays . Normally it is like any other B road and alot quieter .

"Warm, welcoming and surprisingly spacious"
The Hayloft was easy to book at short notice through Holidaylettings website with responsive emails from the owners.
It was warm, welcoming and a home from home inside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well furnished - much nicer than the photographs illustrate.
Situated just inland from Cromer, the whole north coast is an easy drive, as is Southwold and the lovely city of Norwich in the other direction and also many nearby woodland walks. The WiFi worked seamlessly, a real boon.
Five mins by car takes you to well recommended pub food and a brilliant Fish & Chip shop for those not wishing to use the very well equipped kitchen.
