Home description
Beautiful, spacious, well maintained and very comfortable villa, with pool. The property offers peace and tranquility amongst an area of natural beauty, in a quiet private road with no passing traffic.
The villa's double entrance doors open and lead into an open-plan area, accommodating an expansive lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge is furnished with three sofas (each which may convert into pull-out double beds in addition to the formal accommodation advised above), large television,dvd, radio and cd player.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave, conventional oven and large fridge-freezer with ice maker. All three bedrooms which are approximately 200 square feet in size, lead off the living area. The master bedroom has two large walk-in wardrobes and an expansive en-suite bathroom, with large tub, spacious shower and double basins. The second bedroom, like the master bedroom has queen sized beds and a double width walk-in wardrobe. The third bedroom has twin beds and a large walk-in wardrobe. Bedrooms one and three have sliding doors to the pool and deck.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region
If lazing around the pool, or spending time on the Gulf's idyllic beaches becomes too much for you, take a day trip out. There is so much to do - Fort Myers is approximately 45 to 60 minute's drive south of the villa. Visit Edison & Henry Ford's winter homes, or just walk the lovely tree lined boulevards of the City. Offshore Fort Myers, why not visit the enchanting islands of Sanibel & Captiva, which are a very short drive form the City.
A further half hour's drive south, is the enchanting City of Naples. Two hour's drive away from the villa and you are in the world famous Everglades. Flora, fauna and air boat trips. A 30 to 40 minute drive north will land you in Sarasota, a beautiful up-market City with so many attractions. Busch Gardens theme park (and largest Zoo in the southern states of the U.S.) is a 90 minute drive away. Orlando with its theme parks (Disney World, Univeral Studios, Sea-World etc) is waiting to provide the pre-requisite adrenalin rush - two and half hours drive from the villa. There are several State Parks or nature reserves close to the villa, if you seek peace and calm combined with nature.
Rotonda West / Long Meadow area
Rotonda & and the nearby town of Englewood has eight wonderful golf courses within five to ten minutes drive of the villa. Within 20 minutes drive and in Charlotte County (not including Sarasota County nearby), Guests have greater than 60 golf courses to choose from. The offshore islands (named Keys) must be explored and are 10 to 20 minutes easy drive from the villa. Manasota Key, Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande are but an easy drive from the villa. There are so many beautiful unspoilt, uncrowded white sand powder beaches to visit and choose from, on these Keys. Boca Grande Pass is the world championship centre for Tarpon fishing, very close by - deep sea fishing is very popular in this locale.
How to get there
Fly direct by British Airways from London Gatwick airport direct to Tampa. Or, fly to Orlando, Sandford or Miami. Alternatively, fly to any US City hub, transfer to any internal airline bound for South West Florida International Airport (located Fort Myers and an hour's drive from the villa) or Tampa. May recomend Dollar & Alamo car rental companies from personal experience (Budget car rental - poor experience).

Further details indoors: There is a separate utility room leading off the kitchen, equipped with large washing and drying machines.
The property comprises over 3,000 square feet to include a triple garage. Over 2,400 square feet is under air or benefits from central heating. The whole of the property's ground floor area is fully tiled throughout with rugs over. Every room in the villa benefits from two/three speed ceiling fans in addition to the air conditioning available.The television service provides circa 70 channels delivered to the villa by cable rather than satellite receiver.
Further details outdoors: The owners own the undeveloped and adjacent plot to the east side of the villa, the twin plots having more than 25 palm trees across the twin lot. The villa's setting is attractive and affords much privacy. The garden adjoins a fairway of The Long Marsh golf course, is very private and not overllooked. The owners have grown in attractive foliage and screening to each side of the pool deck, in order that maximum privacy may be enjoyed. The whole of the pool deck is caged (as is the norm in Florida) to ensure an insect free environment. The lanai (covered area adjacent to pool deck) has patio chairs and table to seat 8 persons. A powerful three speed fan is fitted above the patio table for your comfort. There is underwater pool lighting and about the deck. A large charcoal fired BBQ is provided. The pool deck is equipped with 8 sun loungers and the respective cushions for same, stored in the utility room. The 12,000 gallon pool benefits from an 8 panel solar heating system, fitted to the villa's roof.
Further details
Guests will receive a "welcome pack" on arrival comprising sufficient for a salad tea during the evening and breakfast the following morning. A property manager is but a telephone call away and living 10 minutes from the villa, should Guests incur an emergency or require any assistance with a problem concerning the villa. The swimming pool pump system is fitted with a thermostatic temparature sensor, which is set between 84 and 86 degrees fahrenheit. From April to September, the thermostat would usually ensure that the pool water does not overheat. Between October and March of each year, the water temperature attained is between 76 and 80 degrees, by using an insulated pool blanket - pulled across the surface of the pool, when the day's fun is over.
Conditions
The villa owners require a security deposit in the sum of £250 GBP which must accompany full rental payment eight weeks prior to your departure date. Your cheque will not be cashed but held in good faith against any damages or breakages that may occur. The cheque provided, will be returned to you as cancelled within 14 to 21 days of your return, once the property has been checked for any breakages or damage. At the time of a rental booking deposit being accepted, the owners will publish and agree a scale of cancellation charge, if the booking does not proceed.
Florida law requires that either an audible alarm or a safety fence is fitted to the pool deck, should minors aged 7 years or younger be included in your party. The villa is fitted with smoke alarms in all rooms. Modern day thinking concerning smoking, is that it is a proven health risk as well as a distinct fire hazard. Our villa is accordingly, designated a non-smoking property.

"I have been to America six times before so have stayed in many villas. The area this villa is in is the best we have found, and we can only call it home from home, welcoming, comfortable with every facility you could wish for.
The kitchen was well stocked, such a welcome surprise. The pool area was lovely, always sunny, and the BBQ we put to good use. We hope Mr and Mrs Jackson will have us back next year. (This is the first time I have wanted to go back to the same villa).

"We had the best holiday ever at Casa Soleil and would return right now at the drop of a hat! The villa was absolutely gorgeous and it was always a pleasure coming back to it.
We loved the area and it was so easy to get around. Gasparilla island was a dream and so were it's beaches and the shopping was very cheap.
This was a wonderful area of Florida to stay in as you experienced the real way of American life but also had the option of visiting Orlando and all the other major attractions.

"On our arrival – wow! What a great first impression. We’ve never rented a villa before, we didn’t know what to expect. This villa is perfect – couldn’t fault anything about it, it has everything you need. We didn’t sample any of the local restaurants we preferred to cater for ourselves. The BBQ was great.
We did a few day trips. – Sanibel Islands/Captiva Island are beautiful – well worth the drive. On a rainy day we drove back to Tampa to do some shopping – Florida International Mall (shopping heaven!!) Spent a day at Venice Beach – quaint little shops, must visit “Soda Fountain” for lunch. Recommend hot dogs and ice cream floats.
Visited Sarasota for the day, beautiful beaches. You should drive down to Gasprilla Island its stunning.
We will definitely be coming again."
