Unexpectedly available for January 2010. The Gulf Coast is so different from much of Florida. Away from the bustle of Miami and Orlando this area has a real Caribbean feel with great beaches, golf courses and restaurants.
We think we have the best location on Rotonda with our villa's pool area facing South West and overlooking the lake and golf course. You can chill out at home or sample the many local restaurants.
We have two master bedrooms, with queen beds and en suite bathrooms. A twin bedroom with bath and a fourth double bedroom, which uses the pool bathroom.
Our pool has a splendid outlook and a hot tub for relaxation. This is real Florida living and a home from home for your break.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region
The Cape Haze area of Florida's Gulf Coast is a hidden gem and ideal for a relaxing holiday.
We are 1.5 hours from Tampa and 2.5 hours from Orlando and Miami. The best time to visit is October to May when the weather is hot but not too stormy or sticky.
You can reach Busch Gardens in Tampa for a day trip and even have a day at Disney but the Gulf Coast is more about relaxation than Mickey Mouse.
Rotonda West / Pine Valley area
You can visit Boca Grande Island with its lighthouse and super restaurant at South Beach. Englewood is 10 minutes away with another great beach and nearby restaurants.
Venice is a little further with Sharkey's restaurant by the pier, where you can also search for shark's teeth on the beach.
If you like shopping then Port Charlotte has an excellent mall and you are an hour away from the outlet stores of Ellington.
The area is a golfer's paradise with six courses on Rotonda and thirty within half an hours drive. The best on Rotonda are Palms and Long Marsh but we love Riverwood, Lemon Bay, Herons Creek and Bobcat Trail

The master bedrooms are huge and the other two big enough for your stay.
The great room comprises the lounge, kitchen and two dining areas plus outside by the pool. We also have a family area, which our guests love as the videos, games, books and extra TV keep the kids occupied.
Further details outdoors: Outside we have six loungers and ample seats for your al fresco meal.
The view over the lake and golf course is sensational and the wildlife includes herons, egrets, turtles, racoons, otters and our own alligator family.
