Conveniently located between Fort Myers and Sarasota, this villa backs onto Rotonda's waterways where you can enjoy stunning sunsets after a day in the sun or enjoy watching some of the exotic wildlife found in the area.
For your enjoyment, the unique shaped private pool overlooks the canal. The pool deck area is equipped with lounging chairs, pool toys and outside dinning that seats 6 comfortably.
Palm Villa is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with separate formal dining room, large main living area, fully equipped kitchen that seats up to 6 and modern laundry facilities.
A special feature of the villa is the direct access to pool deck area from 4 of the main rooms.
The main living area has direct access to the pool deck, is equipped with 42” flat screen, digital cable TV, DVD player, internet, for your entertainment pleasure and for those that like to read, a separate cozy reading area.
Kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and features a bistro eating area that seats 4 plus an open kitchen nook with 2 seat table overlooking pool area.
To enhance your dining pleasure, this villa has a separate elegant dining room that seats 6 - 8 and features a sliding wall which opens to pool deck area.
The master bedroom, is located at the opposite side of the house from the other 2 bedrooms giving complete privacy. It is a spacious room, elegantly furnished with King Size bed, large dresser, 36" flat screen digital TV, ceiling fan, alarm clock and extra bedding. It also has separate his and hers walk-in closets, large ensuite bathroom with separate tub, double vanity, towels walk-in shower and hairdryer
The master bedroom has sliding doors with direct access to pool deck.
The second bedroom, features Queen size bed, double size mirrored dresser, ceiling fan and large closet.
The third bedroom has two twin size beds with large closet, night table and ceiling fan.
All bedrooms are equipped with top quality mattresses for your sleeping comfort.
Other features include a separate laundry room equiped with high performance washer/dryer, iron and board, vacuum cleaner, large pool towels. For those trips to the beach we have a cooler and beach chairs.

Firstly, Roy and Willie were a pleasure to work with. They were so welcoming and offered many tips before we left on places to visit and eat in the local area. When we arrived, there was a definite "wow" factor. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. That is important to those flying in that all linens, luxurious beach towels, beach chairs and even some baby equipment for example are provided for your use. It is open plan, with everything on one level so would be suitable for the elderly or those with disabilities. The beds were incredibly comfortable with high quality linens and our children lived in the beautiful pool. It is pretty deep for small kids, but that helped them to learn to swim on the first day! Everything was provided for a definite home away from home experience. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal (although with so many great restaurants we ate out!) and we loved that the provided plastic dishes for use on the pool patio. We never used the formal dining room, prefering to eat outside at the poolside dining table when at home. The laundry room was wonderful, with newer front loading washer and dryer. The family room has DVD player, flat screen cable TV, a reading nook and very useful to have internet access available too. Note that the master suite is on one side of the house and the kids twin room and second queen sized bedroom on the other. The neighborhood was very quiet as we were out of season for Florida (End of July), but very well placed for exploring the Gulf Coast. If you are looking for quieter beaches, relaxing days or a base to explore the gulf coast, this is the perfect home. Boca Grande Island with it's beautiful beaches is about 15 minutes away, and Englewood beach about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. We also enjoyed finding sharks teeth on Venice Beach, a day trip up to Clearwater to see Winter from Dolpin Tale, and another day exploring the Fort Myers area. Don't miss watching the sunset on Englewood Beach! There are plentiful independant restaurants within a 5 to 20 minute drive, and most of the regular US chain restaurants in Port Charlotte. We particularly enjoyed eating at Harpoon Harry's at the end of the shopping pier in Punta Gorda as we saw dolphins playing while we ate! There are 2 publix supermarkets within 10 minutes drive of the house, and a 24 hour Walmart close by too. We have never repeated the same vacation twice, but all of us agreed we want to return here again soon. Thank you Willie and Roy for sharing your home with us, it truly was the perfect vacation. |
