House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 8
Traditional Victorian house standing in a hillside location overlooking Rothesay Bay, with spectacular views up Loch Striven, the Kyles of Bute and across to the Argyll and Ayrshire coasts.
On the very edge of the town of Rothesay, with its shops and amenities, but truly rural in character. The large secure garden is surrounded by fields and woodland, with the back gate linked by a footpath through the trees to a convenient bridal path.
The decking surrounding the conservatory holds a hot tub with panoramic views across the water.
Ideally suited to families or groups looking for a relaxing base to explore the island of Bute and the surrounding mainland. The ferry crossing to Colintraive, provides a gateway to the heart of the Cowal peninsula and on to the many attractions in Argyll.
Apart from hosting a Jazz Festival, a Food Festival, an Agricultural Show and a Highland Gathering, Bute itself has three golf courses, a number of beaches and opportunities for walking, sailing, cycling, angling and sea kayaking.
The property is equipped with free WiFi and broadband internet, Freeview and BT TV and guests are provided with a welcome tea and coffee pack, together with a selection of Arran Aromatics toiletries.

"Lovely relaxing break"
Great house, warm, well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for a short winter break walking and reading. Fabulous views. Highlight - sitting in hot tub with panoramic views during the day, watching shooting stars at night. Bute / Rothsay quite sleepy and not dramatic compared to islands further north but accessible and quiet.
