Easy access for walks along the riverside, and fishing is available locally by arrangement. Hepple is a hamlet 6 miles from Rothbury, and is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Alnwick castle and its garden is 18 miles, the Northumberland Coast, Hadrians wall and Kielder Water are a short drive away. Village shop and pub 6 miles.
