"Check it out for cleanliness before you rent!!"

The living room and master bedroom carpets were so musty that we couldn't even sit and watch TV in the living room or sleep in the bedroom. There was mildew behind wardrobe and the blinds were fi… More

These guests stayed for the month of August. I gave them one weeks discount. After they left they sought a further two weeks refund, which I refused. They then turned nasty.

I checked in with the guest a week into their stay. They mentioned the carpet issue to me. I could not see what their complaint was but I agreed to get the carpets shampooed professionally at a cost of £150. This was done within days so despite the carpets being freshened up they still found fault. More contact with the guests let me with the feeling that they 'were on the take'. Proven when the asked for a 75% refund.

Any guest that is not happy upon arrival (2 times in 3 years) will be offered a full refund and we will help find them alternative accommodation. These particular guests refused this offer in the hope of getting a free holiday.

"Disappointment"

It's a good apartment but it was very dirty and it needs to be clean-up and renovated. One of the toilets didn't work and one of the showers didn't work.

The apartment was built in 2007 and we installed a new kitchen in 2010 so the apartment in no way needs renovated. I think the photos prove this. There was a problem with the plumbing which was sorted out. The guest had a problem with the garden shed which, as sheds go, is a decent shed. We use professional cleaners and we are happy that the apartment is cleaned to standard before each guest.

"Excellent apartment and a great location"

This two bed apartment is fantastic, it comes with all mod cons and is decorated to the highest standard. The master bedroon comes with ensuite and the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The apartment is ground floor so easy access for children and older visitors. Its location in Rostrevor is handy and Warrenpoint is only 3 miles away.
