Enquire nowThe Heart of England / Peak District / Herefordshire region
Visiting Herefordshire is like stepping back in time to a less hurried world where traditional values persist. A beautiful part of the world where farming remains the main occupation - the centre of the cider industry, a major fruit growing region with a growing number of vineyards. Small towns and villages with classic timber framed buildings abound and the River Wye snakes gracefully through the countryside.
The Ross on Wye / Sellack area
Ross-on-Wye is situated in the heart of the Wye valley and is a centre for all kinds of outdoor and country pursuits - walking, riding, cycling, canoeing etc. Hereford with its cathedral and mapa mundi are close by, Hay-on-Wye, the mecca for book lovers, is an easy drive away. Symonds Yat, the romantic ruins of Tintern Abbey and the Forest of Dean are all conveniently at hand.
