Church Lane is a self catering holiday/short stay home which sleeps up to 5 people (plus a cot) situated in the heart of the village of Moate in County Westmeath. Upstairs there is a main double bedroom with ensuite, a double bedroom and a single bedroom and another bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, separate lounge, laundry, coatroom & toilet.

Church Lane is in the heart of heritage Ireland and from here you can travel to the nearby monastery of Clonmacnoise (founded in 546) or find your roots at the Dun na Si Cultural & Heritage Centre. If golf is your passion the local golf course & restaurant is 5 minutes walk away with others within easy driving distance.

Church Lane is child friendly with a cot, highchair and stair gates and a self contained courtyard for play.

Church Lane is part of a small development built in 2005. This 100 sq metre town house is a two storey 'end of terrace' on the main street of Moate with an easy walking distance to all facilities.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs and the living areas are located downstairs with separate dining, lounge, laundry, cloakroom areas as well as an additional toilet. There are 400+ TV channels, an IPOD dock and a printer available. Stairs gates are also provided if you require.

A balcony is accessible from the main bedroom which looks out onto hills and a paved courtyard is available from the kitchen/dining area with seating, outdoor furniture and a BBQ for your use.

Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by the Owner of the required deposit payment of 25% of the rental cost.

If the booking is made within four weeks of the rental stay commencement date, the full accommodation rental cost will be required at the time of booking. Deposits will be accepted through Paypal or by Direct Funds Transfer.

Moate is a busy traditional town with several schools and a business college. You will find most everything you need right in the Main Street of Moate (all within easy walking distance) including a post office, a bank, hairdressers, butchers, supermarket, barbers, beauty rooms, clothing shops, sports shops, gift shops, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, pubs and a medical centre. There is also a Heritage Centre, an Art Gallery, a Theatre, a Museum a Library, a Community Centre and the newly opened Midlands Amenity Park which includes playgrounds for children, exercise equipment for adults, an ecological walk, wood land, sculptured gardens and the national cycleway! "One fine place to lay your head when in the Midlands"

The property on Church Lane in Moate was a fine introduction to our trip to Ireland. The village was a perfect size to find all that we needed or wanted and was located well for some ancestor searching and sightseeing. The highways are easily accessible and the choices plentiful. The house itself had everything we needed and is well appointed. The beds were comfortable and though it is on the main street it is quiet and peaceful. The furnishings are well chosen for the place and the photos on the wall tell a story.

"What a great place to stay"

30 Church Lane was a delightful place to stay. My family could visit so many different places easily in Ireland, because of its central location. Many historical places are nearby and the holiday home is neat and very tidy. All facilities are so conveniently set throughout the house, it's clear a lot of thought went into it. We have two small children and they had a great time. Plenty of board games, DVDs and a really nice backyard. Weather was lovely so we used the BBQ. We've travelled often using self-catering (kids). For us, this was the best such experience we've had thus far.

"Great stay at 30 Church Lane in Moate!"

We had an amazing stay at 30 Church Lane! We visit Moate every few years to visit family and see the sights, but this is the first time that we've had a house to ourselves during our visit. 30 Church Lane was incredible; it was stocked with everything we could need- towels, dish soap, tea, iron, hair dryer, printer, etc, etc, and very well organized. The house is comfortable and stylish. We only wished we had planned to stay longer! We loved the back patio and balcony and plan to use the BBQ the next time we come!

It's location is great; right in the center of Moate so it's easy to get to all the shops but parking is included in the lot at the back, which is handy. We'll definitely be back, and we'll recommend to everyone we know!
