Home description
First built in 1509, the Maison du Tisserand as it stands today is a work of passion. After several lives, including that of a local weaver's home – the word "tisserand" means "weaver", it was last renovated in 2007 by its current owners, whose fervent enthusiasm for beautifully edifices clearly shows.
The actual renovation work was carried out by Master Craftsmen in the purest tradition: building methods, original materials, preservation of existing features... absolutely nothing was left to chance. Remarkable in character, warm of atmosphere and fitted with all necessary conveniences, the property reflects a meticulous attention to detail.
The enclosed courtyard and garden, with its wood-decked swimming pool area, provide guests with a pleasant setting for sunbathing.
Located just four kilometres from the small port of Moguiriec, and with shops in the vicinity, the residence is the ideal base for visitors who want to explore the region. And if you ask the owner kindly enough, he would be more than delighted to share with you his passion for the sea on the occasion of outing on his sailboat!
