The Costa de Almeria region

Almeria is the warmest part of Europe and is also the official desert of Europe. In fact, in this area of Spain you could be mistaken for thinking you are in the Wild West with it's mountainous sun baked terrain. Take a trip to Oasys where great Spaghetti Westerns like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly were shot.
Almeria Port (only 5t minutes drive from the apartment) offers ferry trips to Morrocco.

Roquetas de Mar / Playa Serena area

Roquetas de Mar is a very popular Spanish destination for holidays. There is a golf course (just next to to the aparment) designed by Gary Player (Playa Serena), the largest golf course of Almeria.

Near to Roquetas and Almeria, you can go to Calar Alto, an observatory where you will have an amazing view of all the coast and the mountains of Sierra Nevada.

If your list of interests includes cycling, you will be happy because this is a beautiful region to pratice this activity to evaluate your level.

Fly to Almeria Airport from London Garwick, Stansteas, Luton, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford.
Airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Jet2 offer flights from these Uk airports.
