Roquetas is a lovely town with the following-- it has a port / castle /golf course /aqua park /aquarium /theatre /shopping mall with bowling alley /a long promenade stretching from the port to the nature reserve. There is a wide variety of food available including indian-chinese-spanish-italian-and british all within walking distance of the apartment.The Almeria region is desert area with over 3,000 hours of sunshine and a theme park mini hollywood where many films were made and also a zoo and swimming pool making a great day out for all the family.

One of the dryest areas of spain with golf sailing shopping great motorway system so it is so easy to get around and also visit mini hollywood where you can see where many great films were made. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers.
